I walked out on the hills near the village of Bodajk, which is now full of many blooming wild plants. Last year I saw a lot of butterflies and small insects and bees, but now I can barely find some. The insects have simply disappeared there, although there is no intensive agricultural activity in that area. What's more, it is a nature reserve! I suppose the wind took the pesticide there!
This is a very alarming sign, with the disappearance of pollinating insects, the plants will perish! Without bees, there will be no more crops, vegetables and fruits. Instead, some genetically modified shit will be pushed down our throats. And, in addition, we will miss birdsong!
You don't want that, do you?
In the villages, small gardens disappear, instead there is a mowed and chemicalized lawn everywhere, and thuja by the fence. For me, it is very depressing and poor. Even in cities, I would rather see flowering meadows than mowed lawns.
What can you do then? If you can, move to the countryside and create a garden, plant fruit trees and flowers, grow vegetables, keep animals. If that doesn’t work yet, reduce your consumption and buy only chemical-free organic food from local producers.
However, all is not lost yet, I found a single rose beetle and a tiny blue butterfly. Where there is one, there are several possible, they just hid. Insects are real treasures! I hope to have many more little friends next time.
I'm not normal! I'm a Humanoid!
