Juniper is abundant here in eastern part of Nepal. It is also found in neighbouring districts of India like Darjeeling and Sikkim. The road will take you along the forest of Black Juniper. The weather here is very cold and foggy. Such conditions make them suitable for their growth. The freezing temperature is not good for such kind of trees. I decided to go on a morning walk through such forest while I am still on my tour to eastern Nepal. I wore on my woollen gloves and a down jacket so as to protect myself from the cold. I took walk along the foggy juniper forest for about an hour. There was not any people on this trail except 3-4 people's I met on the way. They were going down while I was walking up. The trail was very silent early morning. Not so many people walk when it is foggy outside. It can directly affect your lung while you try to breathe very cold air. It was my very first walking along such trail and I just want to experience how it feels to walk on such trail.
