Nature's glory leaves me in awe,
Serenity for soul, In nature I follow
Sceneries that bewitched my mind
I walk more and more until I am satisfied.
The vast blessings, the creator had given us,
We ought to preserve, protect and pass
Nature's beauty, captivates one soul
Conserving its value should be done by all.
Sitio Tuburan, Borbon, Cebu a place that satisfies the curiosity of a wandering soul like me. I'm sure that our Hivers residing in Borbon would be well familiar with this place if they are an enthusiast of nature. It's a unique place that has this relaxing stream that one could never help but appreciate and love.
Right off the bat from Borbon's Central part, one needs to walk 200 meters to reach Sitio Tuburan, walking through it would be fulfilling since you could get to enjoy the varied scenery and it has a lot of trees that can protect one from the shade of the sun.
I've always wanted to visit this place since its renovation but sadly I didn't have someone that could accompany me. It would be more enjoyable if one is with their friends and family but in my case, I've only had a friend whom I can afford to go with. She's living near the site that's why it's conventional to ask her out for a walk. She was even patient since, the heat of the sun was somehow scorching yet I can feel that we both have enjoyed this venture to nature, it's been months since we've last seen each other that's why we've got a bunch of stories to share to another.
Sitio Tuburan's stream has been renovated for its good cause making people have an awareness that this place should always be used responsibly. It's quite hectic when it is weekends but then I'm not that fond of having many around so I choose to visit on weekdays. One could enjoy the silence and the sound that can only be heard would be the flow of water. There was a few people but that doesn't disrupt the peace of the place, Green sceneries can only filled your eyes, a venture to hold to have a piece of satisfaction.
We even got a cute companion, trying to cross the coconut tree to be with us, it seemed to be struggling, Matmat's display of bravery is adorable to watch for even though it's not fond of water but it gathered its courage to reach us, He looks too cute doing its best even though the thing it's doing might be dangerous since he could get easily swift by the waves.
A relaxation where only the humming of birds, blowing of air to the trees which results in a satisfying sound of nature, I truly wish that life would always be this calm and satisfying. As I've walked to explore together with my friend, I had my regrets since I think that I could explore more if I started to venture early in the morning but at some point, I just realized that I am blessed to be able to explore places like this.
Going deeper into the forest following the flow of water, I was entrapped by the nature offered right before my eyes, Having my friend to talk to endlessly, We've discussed life and its uncertainties.It's been months since we've seen each other, Stories have filed up to share. The longer we walk the satisfaction grows, sweats are to be considered as a viable result. I've reached my daily qouta of steps and my energy seems to be on its fall use, truly a once in a year experience for me.
Having this walk was a worthwhile experience, I get to explore different places, Once in a while, I think I deserve this When life gets hectic, I'll find my way in this place. It took us hours to satisfy this craving for nature and to roam around. Next week, I think it would be torture,Classes are approaching How I wish, time would skip so that all my worries would vanish. Exploring nature won't be easy as it seems to be for I know this school year would be another long and arduous journey, Someday, I wanna go back here and stay for a longer while, to stare at the stream and to reflect about life. Maybe years would come and this place would gone through a lot of changes even more but I hope that whoever may have the capacity to do that, They should not forget to preserve this beauty that this place behold.
This was my last hurdle to have fun and bond with nature and I'm glad that I get to share with you all my experience.
