A Happy Friday to all and I will show you some struggles here.
Beautiful isn't it and it was those same clouds that would give me some @proofofbrain moments later on.
So, you know that you can take great shots of the moon and you plan to get it as it clears the peak of the mountain. You have located the exact spot where it will rise and you know that the moon will be a lovely extra large size that would make an excellent photo.
But you have not reckoned on the trickery of Mother nature and so come and let me show you.
I still get sad when I look at this, as can you imagine what a great shot of the full moon this shot would be on a clear night?
But I have been blessed with tons of determination and perseverance, so I just stuck to my decision to get a clear shot of the moon.
The clouds of course were not going to give up easily and by this stage we were a long time in the battle.
Here the top of a high tree was in my way and I thought that you would like an arty shot a la @traciyoung, as she is fond of taking these types of arty moon shots.
Selah! I won the battle to get a clear shot and here I present to you with the full moon in all of its glorious beauty.
Granted that Mother nature was the winner in all of the other shots, but the final victory was mine. My ultimate aim was always to get a clear shot of the moon, but she beat me hands down with my plan to get the moon at the top of the mountain.
Now I could have given up right after that first failed shot, but I am not the type that surrenders easily, except when it it comes to the supremacy of our Lord, as he has upended me easily.
The lesson here is not to give up. So many newbies run away after their first few posts that do not deliver instant riches, but they will never be successful in anything else that they try.
I was also a newbie long ago and the message is to persevere in all that we do. Sooner or later your time will come.
And That's All Friends.
