If you are in crypto, and you are HODLing some (any) tokens, you have been probably hit hard yesterday and today... If this bear market and this big drop in the BTC price is a new thing for you, don't worry and don't panic... It happens... Markets are going up, and they are going down... That's what they do, and as soon as you accept that, you will easier float in these "not-that-great" times...
But, even if you are an experienced trader, and you know the real values of crypto, even then you can "feel" the pain and FUD... We are humans, we have emotions, and we most of the time react led our emotions... So, if you can't switch off your emotions, you can do something that I have done this morning...
I literally, run to the woods... 😂 Okay, it wasn't running, but it was more walking... And I did something that I didn't do for a couple of years!!! I brought my digital camera with me! Usually, I don't do that as it is big, and with the heat that we are having these days, I don't like to wear too many things with me... But, I was inspired by some of the posts that I chose for the @Ourpick where people were doing some great shots with their cameras...
The plan was to go out from home around 7 AM while it's not that hot and have a nice walk in the forest near my place... Of course, that didn't happen and I left my home after 8... 😂 As you will see from the photos, this forest isn't as dense as forests can be, and there isn't too much vegetation... I blame the hot climate and the very hard soil...
Some of the trees have signs written on them and I suppose that they represent directions for some running, or cycling event... Many people are cycling mountain bikes there, but also smaller motorcycles, quads, etc...
These days, we have daily temperatures over 32 Degrees Celsius, and during the night, it doesn't go lower than 24... Also, we have a humidity over 70-80%, which makes these temperatures to be like 40 Degrees "real-feel"... So, before going for this walk, I expected how I will walk through the wet grass (nonexistent morning dew 😃)... lol... That was silly to expect as there is no grass at all! 😂
Most plants in the woods are bushes and pine trees as only they can survive these circumstances... I suppose that these berries aren't edible and I wasn't prepared to test them... 😃 The same goes for the other ones...
Ooops... What do we have here? A Hivian that doesn't want to show her face... 😃 If you recognize her, don't tag her in the comments as I will be punished for publishing the photo... 😂
No grass, just dirt... and no people at all! We had the whole forest for us... The only issue was that as time was passing by, it was hotter and hotter...
I didn't expect that it will be hard to find pinecones to take photos of, but as it is summer, it was a challenge to do it, even in the pine tree forest! Also, I have to say that I was picky and wanted to find a "perfect pinecone" for a photo... When I realized that it will be a tough job, I lowered my expectations... 😃
I like to catch sunrays going through trees, but I was a bit late for doing that as the sun was already too high in the sky... Also, I like when I got that tiny green "alien" light as a subproduct of sun rays...
I had another idea this morning, and it was to find some mushrooms and take photos as today is #FungiFriday, but we didn't have rain for over a month, and this fallen tree is dry as gunpowder... 😃 But, I had a look around... Of course, without success...
Someone had fun in the woods and created this small art piece... :)
This tree got my attention as someone cut the branch and colored the "scar" in blue... And after a while, the tree began to release green teardrops! I never saw something like that...
This forest is between my place and Benidorm, which you can see in the distance in this photo, and a couple of following photos... It is a very specific city as it has a lot of skyscrapers built in the last 30-40 years... Some people are calling it Beni-York, as it reminds them of New York, but of course, in miniature... 😃
What would be a forest without my favorite plant, the carob tree? It is one of those trees that can survive without water for a long time... I like the smell, I like the taste, and I like how resilient it is!
This was a nice catch... It is an old pinecone, but it looks great!
And in the end, another "alien light" was caught in a photo! This one has 3 types of lights... The orange, green and purple-green!
Thank you for your time,
