I am happy to share with you the dreamlike visit to the little country house of my dear friends Rodolfo and Gabriela, as they call it, located in a place privileged by the climate, spectacular landscapes and abundant vegetation. An example of this are the various ornamental trees from the entrance, one of which is popularly known as Mermelada (Estreptosolen) with yellow flowers, frequently visited by hummingbirds.

Feliz de compartir con ustedes, la visita de ensueño a la “casita” de campo de mis entrañables amigos Rodolfo y Gabriela, como ellos la nombran, ubicada en un lugar privilegiado por el clima, espectaculares paisajes y abundante vegetación. Muestra de esto, son los variados árboles ornamentales que se encuentran desde la entrada, uno de ellos conocido popularmente como Mermelada (Estreptosolen) de flores amarillas, visitado frecuentemente por colibríes.
Upon our arrival we are welcomed by the delicate mist, which gently unfolds decorating the Venezuelan Andean mountain range, from its summit to the surrounding fields and communities.
The vegetation is majestic, adorned with its intense and contrasting tropical colors, accompanied by the soft and gentle breeze that embraces us and caresses, transmitting hospitality and joy. A Trinitaria or Bougainvillea, stands out for its radiant fuchsia color among the mist like a floral arrangement, is in charge of reiterating this message.

A nuestro arribo nos da la bienvenida la delicada neblina, que se despliega suavemente decorando la cordillera andina venezolana, desde su cima hasta los campos y comunidades aledañas.
La vegetación se muestra majestuosa, engalanada con sus intensos y contrastantes colores tropicales, acompañada con la suave y afable brisa que nos abraza y acaricia, transmitiendo hospitalidad y regocijo. Una Trinitaria o Buganvilla, destaca por su radiante color fucsia entre la neblina como un arreglo floral, es la encargada de reiterarnos este mensaje.
Rodolfo and Gabriela's small country house has a very representative name of what "Plenitud" (Plenitude) offers, through the fresh and pure air, vegetation and flowers of different types and colors everywhere, silence and peace, with some diffuse sounds of birds and fauna of the area, incredible and unforgettable.
La casita de Rodolfo y Gabriela tiene un nombre muy representativo de lo que ofrece “Plenitud”, mediante el aire fresco y puro, vegetación y flores de diferentes tipos y colores por doquier, silencio y paz, con algunos difusos sonidos de aves y fauna de la zona, increible e inolvidable.
"Plenitud" is full of surprises, one of them are the balconies located at the back, where you can admire the landscape and biodiversity from different perspectives, offering more flowers, more plants, more fauna, more mountain, more beauty, and I am happier and more grateful enjoying of so much generosity.
“Plenitud” está llena de sorpresa, una de ellas son los balcones ubicados en la parte posterior, donde se puede admirar el paisaje y biodiversidad desde diferentes perspectivas, ofreciendo más flores, más plantas, más fauna, más montaña, más belleza, y yo más feliz y agradecida disfrutando de tanta generosidad.
In harmony with the environment, they also cultivate some plants in pots that offer striking deep red touches to the landscape and fresh aromas, among them the flower Novio, also known as Geraniums (Geranium).
En armonía con el exterior, cultivan algunas plantas en macetas que ofrecen llamativa pinceladas rojo intenso al paisaje y frescos aromas, entre ellas la flor Novio, también conocida como Geranios (Geranium).
In love with this place, relaxed and unhurried, I enjoy every encounter with flowers, plants and landscapes enraptured by the richness of nature, and I am encouraged to explore new paths in this Andean land.
Enamorada de este lugar, relajada y sin prisa, disfruto cada encuentro con flores, plantas y paisajes extasiada de tanta riqueza de la naturaleza, y me animo a explorar nuevos caminos en esta tierra andina.
I start my walk through a door adorned with a vine of small purple flowers known as Morning Glory (Ipomoea purpurea ). Very near, a tree is the host of some beautiful orchids (Cattleya mossiae), immediately there are some beautiful Vicarias or Vinca de Madagascar, giving away their joy and color, and also a Cariaquito bush (Lantana).
Mi recorrido lo inicio por una puerta ataviada con una enredadera de pequeñas flores moradas conocida como Gloria de la Mañana (Ipomoea purpurea). Muy cerca, un árbol es el hospedaje de unas preciosas orquídeas (Cattleya mossiae), seguidas por Vicarias o Vinca de Madagascar, regalando su alegría y colorido, y también un arbusto de Cariaquito (Lantana).
Another interesting surprise was an ornamental dwarf mandarin (Kumquat) tree displaying beautiful clusters of this orange and yellowish-green fruit, distinguished by its intense acidity.
Otra sorpresa interesante fue un árbol ornamental de mandarinas enanas (Kumquat) que exhibía preciosos racimos de esta fruta de color anaranjado y verde amarillento, distinguidas por su intensa acidez.
The landscape is decorated with fruit and ornamental trees against the backdrop of the sky with its cotton-flake clouds and the Andean mountains, a wonderful backdrop.
Más adelante, este paisaje decorado con árboles frutales y ornamentales teniendo como telón de fondo el cielo con sus nubes como copos de algodón y las montañas andinas, maravilloso.
Very pleasant memories that were engraved in my memory, with the image of this local girl, a mixture of beauty and innocence, accompanied by her pet and several animals from her parents' finca.
Muy gratos recuerdo que fueron lacrados en mi memoria, con la imagen de esta niña de la localidad, mezcla de belleza e inocencia, acompañada de su mascota y varios animales de la finca de sus padres.
