Muy feliz lunes, hoy vengo con un tutorial bastante sencillo, pero lleno de intención, es una muñeca espiritual, hace mucho tiempo fui a una expo de café y de la tierra de Guatemala me dieron una muestra con una muñeca quitapenas, las pones debajo de tu almohada susurrando tu necesidad y así ella en el sueño se la lleva, desde allí empecé a investigar.
Hello hivers and creatives. Very happy Monday, today I come with a very simple tutorial, but full of intention, it is a spiritual doll, a long time ago I went to a coffee expo and from the land of Guatemala they gave me a sample with a doll quitapenas, you put them under your pillow whispering your need and so she in the dream takes it, from there I started to investigate.
La muñeca espiritual es una herramienta para enfocar tu energía con simbología, en este caso la hice de prueba y el propósito de plasmar y evocar el florecer la primavera y la abundancia. Para ella usé papel para el patrón, lápiz, pintura, tela cruda, algodón, tijera, máquina de coser, hilo y aguja. Para el patrón me inspiré en unos modelos de hojas que había visto.
The spiritual doll is a tool to focus your energy with symbology, in this case I made it as a test and the purpose of embodying and evoking the blooming of spring and abundance. I used paper for the pattern, pencil, paint, raw fabric, cotton, scissors, sewing machine, thread and needle. For the pattern I was inspired by some leaf patterns I had seen.
Así lo llevé a la tela, dejando 1 cm de costura, corté 2 piezas, para luego pasarla por la máquina de coser, con mucha paciencia por las múltiples curvas que tiene, dejando una espacio sin coser bastante amplio como para rellenarla con el algodón y ayuda de una lápiz o pincel, algo con esa forma que alcance todas las extremidades de la muñeca espiritual.
So I took it to the fabric, leaving 1 cm of seam, cut 2 pieces, and then pass it through the sewing machine, with great patience for the many curves it has, leaving a space without sewing wide enough to fill it with cotton and help of a pencil or brush, something with that shape that reaches all the extremities of the spiritual doll.
Una vez bien acolchada la cerramos con una costura escondida a mano, ahora vamos a la parte que pensé sería fácil pero fue retadora, la pintura, pero antes con un lápiz hice las formas básicas, luego con el pincel más pequeño pinte y decore mucho más. Empezando con el rostro, y el corazón que siempre está en mis obras.
Once it was well quilted we closed it with a hidden hand stitching, now let's go to the part that I thought would be easy but was challenging, the painting, but first with a pencil I made the basic shapes, then with the smaller brush I painted and decorated much more. Starting with the face, and the heart that is always in my works.
Y así quedó mi primera muñeca espiritual, con la intención de evocar la primavera ¿Qué te pareció, las conocían? Ya no puedo esperar para hacer otras muñecas con otra simbología ¿Cómo cuál sería?
