Sewing a Nigerian female clothes
Am showing you the process…..so read carefully.
Am using 3 yards of plain material clothes to sew my A-line Gown .
Firstly, look for a place to place the clothes on, then after that spread it,fold it into two. Remember not all the clothes you are folding into two, just a little side of it that can contain your measured body.
Hold your tape rule put it on ur neck,you must have the measure of the clothes before that you want to cut,then divide it into four places all of it except only shoulder your her dividing this in two places without adding allowance to it,but the rest you need to put allowance to it at least two inches at one one side of it.
For example,let use this measurement
Shoulder. 14÷2
Burst. 38÷4
Wast. 32÷4
Hip. 40÷4
Length. 40
Sleeve. 12
Round sl. 15÷2
So this A-shape gown will be cutting so if you reach to the west you don't need to measure again just place your tape from under the burst and slant it to the length inside then let cut it now,so have finished cutting it now.
So this is my results
After that remove the neck space from it,you can see then that place that I curve is called the Armor, place the remaining clothes fold it into two, measure the length of the sleeve that Armor place it on the top of the length,make sure you place it well then mark it out anything you mark then draw it out and cut it out so it reserve as the hand of the clothes,that is all about it
So it remaining only sew,then will just need to join the both side together....................so that is all
