Hello everyone
I bring you all greetings from this part of the world and I hope you are doing great out there, I work up today with a lot of work to do but unfortunately, there was no power supply so, I decided to start with the work that can be done without power supply and set it aside instead of waiting for the power to be restored and doing nothing. I will be making a dress and I would want to add some applique to make it beautiful.
I will be sharing the simple step by step process with you, it is very simple and easy to make as well as very useful. One can decide to add it to a dress, a cap, a scrunchie or hair band, this will help to add more design and beauty to your project instead of buying from the market.
To make this beautiful fabric flower
Cut out 3 x 3" of fabric in 7 places
Pick one piece and fold it in a triangle shape
Then you'll fold it in two again
After which you will fold in two again with the two wings up
Clip both sides down and secure it with and needle and thread
Repeat same process with the other pieces as well
Then use hand needle and thread again to run a long stitch through all the pieces at the middle
Gather it together and secure it at the end then you will have this
To cover the rough part in the middle, I used my gum to add a silver applique on it and it's looking so nice
At the back as well, I cut out a small round piece to cover it as well.
This is the final outcome of my fabric flower applique I made, I hope you like it.
