Hello everyone
This is one of my recent creatively designed and Completed outfit made for my client who brought a 3yards of fabric to make a skirt and blouse, considering the yards of fabric she bought, it will not be enough so I decided to combined it with another material to make a complete outfit.
Recently, I made a post on the cutting and sewing process of the straight skirt and also the off shoulder bustier for the upper bodice and now, I will be sharing with you the cutting and sewing process of the other parts I made to make a complete skirt and blouse.
Let's get started
Just as I usually do, when given a fabric to make an outfit, first I cut out the skirt and after which I proceed to the upper bodice and below is the making of the skirt.
After the making of the skirt, I proceeded into the making of an off shoulder bustier with the detail in my blog and finally, a 720° peplum flare was cut out and sewn to the upper bodice by cutting out the waist measurement divide by 2 then divide by 6.28 to get the first 360° flare which was cut out twice with the length of the flare.
These were sewn together with the upper bodice and this is what I have.
To make a complete blouse, I cut out a basic off shoulder sleeve and in order not to leave the blouse plain, I made a stylish pleat on the neckline and this is the final and beautiful outcome of the outfit with the straight skirt sewn to it.
