There are so many ways you can be creative, transformation is changing of one thing to another just as I suprisingly did for my client.
This scarf was gifted to my client with other dresses by her sister, and she's the type that is not used to covering her hair and she's so much in love with the colour of the scarf. She called me to come over to her place so I can make a dress with the new Ankara fabric she bought and while we were discussing, she made mention of the scarf then I told her to bring it that I will look for something nice to make with it after looking g at the size of the scarf that it is big enr, and she said "I trust you bimpcy" 😀😀😀😀
When I got home, I immediately tried to look for what to make with the scarf or veil whichever since I've made a promise to make something nice with it because I don't want to disappoint my client, then this simple and easy dress came to my mind.
I remembered I've made something like this before, immediately I began to work on it.
Transformation process.
Lucky enough for me, the scarf has been hem at the top and down all I did was to fold in two the hem at the two sides.
After I folded in two, I measured out the neckline and the length of the armhole and that was it, I then taped the neckline with a bias tape and finally see the sides of the gown from the right side although the armhole straight down and I have this lovely dress.
