Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien. Tengo el gusto de mostrarles la elaboración de un strapless de mangas. Lo mejor es que tengo una forma muy sencilla de hacer este diseño.

With the help of the mannequin I want to show you how to sew the piece, I only used pins to join the pieces and give a sample of how to join the pieces in the machine.

First we must create the top piece, we can sew it as you can see in the image or we can give it a better silhouette.

Con la ayuda del maniquí quiero mostrarles como se debe coser la pieza, solo utilicé alfileres para unir las piezas y dar una muestra de como se debe unir las piezas en la maquina.

Primero debemos crear la pieza del top, podemos coserla asi mismo como ven en la imagen o podemos darle una mejor silueta.

This piece corresponds to the shoulder pad area, it is a double rectangle of 20" X 8.5" we must sew the sides, I just made some stitches with sewing thread and needle to show you on the mannequin how to sew the piece.

Esta pieza corresponde a la zona de la hombrera, es un rectángulo doble de 20" X 8,5" debemos de coser los laterales, yo solo hice algunas puntadas con hilo de coser y aguja para poder mostrarles en el maniquí como se debe coser la pieza.

This way we have a fixed rectangle.

De esta manera tenemos el rectángulo fijo.

Then we must join both ends to form the second piece.

Luego debemos unir ambos extremos y asi formamos la segunda pieza.

This second piece or ribbon should be sewn around the top, but only on the armhole or sleeve side, leaving a seam allowance of 8" or 8.5" and then the back should be sewn as well.

Esta segunda pieza o cinta la debemos de coser al rededor del top, pero solo del lado de la sisa o de la manga debemos de dejar una medida sin coser de 8" o de 8,5" y luego se debe coser la parte trasera tambien.

Although the pieces are only pinned together, you can see the shape of the piece.

Aunque las piezas solo estan sujetadas con alfileres, bien pueden ver la forma en la que la pieza queda.

Now we sew... - Ahora debemos coser

In the area of the top I made a cut to mark the silhouette and by sewing I joined the piece. Then with the pins I did the same step that I did on the mannequin leaving a space of 8" inches for the sleeve or armhole.

En la zona del top hice un corte para marcar la silueta y mediante costura uni la pieza. Luego mediante los alfileres hice el mismo paso que realicé en el maniquí dejando es espacio de 8" pulgadas para la manga o de la sisa.

Then we proceed to sew and by separator we make the doubles in the area where the shoulder space was left.

Luego procedemos a coser y por separador hacemos el dobles en la zona donde se dejó el espacio de los hombros.
