Hi hive friends, today I want to show you a little tutorial on how to make some cute anklets with fabric scraps, I made two, one for my little sister and one for me. They are super comfortable to wear at home and with shoes to go out. Stick around for the step by step tutorial.
Paso 1: Vamos a elegir las telas con las que vamos a trabajar. Procuremos que sean telas que combinen unas con otras, tenemos un patrón el cual se hace plasmando nuestro Pies en una hoja, cartulina, lo que tengamos, marcamos nuestro pies y luego recortamos. Procederemos luego a colocarlas sobre la tela y así poder recortarlas para tener nuestras piezas ya listas.
Step 1: Let's choose the fabrics we are going to work with. Let's make sure that they are fabrics that combine with each other, we have a pattern which is made by drawing our feet on a sheet, cardboard, whatever we have, we mark our feet and then cut them out. We then proceed to place them on the fabric and then cut them to have our pieces ready.
Paso 2: Lo siguiente que haremos será coser nuestras piezas. La tobillera se compone de 3 piezas por cada media. Entonces lo que haremos será coser la pieza del tobillo a la parte que va encima del pies, y luego coseremos ésto a la parte que asemeja la planta del pies. Los mismo pasos los hacemos con el otro par de medias. Es súper fácil y sencillo.
Step 2: Next we will sew our pieces together. The anklet is composed of 3 pieces for each sock. So what we will do is sew the ankle piece to the part that goes on top of the foot, and then we will sew this to the part that resembles the sole of the foot. The same steps are done with the other pair of socks. It is super easy and simple.
