Hello all at needlework comunity, a sweet warm greetings to you all from gee's collectiong. It is called gees collecting for a reason. So one of my customers walked in the other day with her materials to my store for my to make for her this regulare flair down gown. And i took some measurement of her and also went ahead to make the materials the next day after she left and the funny part was that she needed the cloth in two day. I made the cloth and finishe in a day before she came the next day.
So today I will be making a down flair gown for my customer friend.
Materials
Vintage
Ruller
Chalk
Black zip
Elastic for the hands
Measurement tape.
I will arrange the materials then use the tape and cut out the body side first before I will go into the flair side
I will cut the hands out from the piece left after the body and then the remaining one I will cut out the flair. And the next thing i did was to beging my sawing process.
Sk at this point i used the measurement book and cut out her straight body size focusing on the breast and the tommy so that it will be accurate.
I cut out the flair side and decided to weave out the flair.i did it till the end and kept ut one side so that i can join everything together.
This is when i put the zip after joing the flair to the main body gown. I put the both hands and then insect the elastic at the down part of the hand. The hands is called a ballon hands.
Do after everything being done i decided to iron it and then put it on a maniguin so that others can also view it and possible i will have another customers order.
To my amazing customer i know you will love this cloth and thanks for coming through for me. And to you taking time to view my work God bless you.
