In my previous crochet-related post, I shared about my first pattern test experience. Guess what? After that pattern test, I applied to more, and I got accepted! Not just in one, not just two, but four pattern tests (screaaaams!!!) I will soon share with you my experience in each of them, but for now, let's talk about my second pattern test.
I am so happy to say that I was part of #JajaTop 's pattern testing team. It is the first written pattern by @xtycraftswhatever. Cristy, the designer, is one of the crocheters I look up to. Simply looking through her IG feed, you could already tell how much effort and love she puts into her craft. From her flatlay photos to when worn photos, and even her captions! I have been saying this wherever, but Cristy's captions were the main reason why I followed her when I first bumped into her profile. She's a storyteller, friends!
Jaja Top is part of Cristy's Entourage Collection. She is crocheting tops for the entourage/sponsors on her wedding day!!! How awesome is that?!?! Handmade wedding outfits? Yessss!!!

As I mentioned earlier, JajaTop is her first crochet pattern, but it is so well-written! The instructions are straightforward and easy to understand. Cristy even made a cheat sheet for the measurements needed, so we can skip doing math. The cheat sheet will do it for you! Aside from those, you can make up to 6 different designs (or moreee?) from this single pattern alone. JajaTop pattern includes 3 options for the front design and 2 options for the back design. It works up fast as well, that most of the testers ended up making two. One tester even made three Jaja Tops!!! Personally, I made two. Hihi

I tested for a kid's size, for my niece. I wanted my niece to be part of the process so I let her choose a yarn color from my stash. She was super excited when I informed her that I was going to make something for her. She even allowed me to take photos of her, wearing the top. Soooo cutie!!!

I am very happy and proud to be part of Jaja Top's team. My fellow testers were so nice as well! Even though we came from the different parts of the world, we were still able to communicate harmoniously. It's so cute how everyone greets each other a good day, even though we have different time zones. Aside from enjoying this journey, I learned a lot as well.
Jaja Top was released yesterday! If you would like to purchase the written pattern, you may check it through Ko-fi or Etsy.

Thank you so much!
Stay sane and safe!
