Hope everyone is doing great.Today i am back in this community and also on ecnecy after some time i know.
Let me tell you the reason first.Actually last two weeks were my exam weeks and during this stressful time i also broke my phone.I dont know what actually happened what it was continuously turning on and off by itself.So I didn’t have access to any of my accounts and honeslty that was a very rough time.
Now i have gotten my new phone and i am so happy and excited to share with you guys my first crochet project that i am posting from my new phone.It is a sunflower which is very trending flower these days so i thought to make one and share it with you guys.
After spending the hardest time of the year,i am back in my home with alot of holidays but the only thing that’s bothering me is the internet here.It is very slow that you have to wait till midnight to write a post but anyways let’s get to the point.
I decided to make this sunflower because I saw a girl in university holding a sunflower bouquet and it was looking damn cute so i planned to practice one by myslef.
I took my most trusted crochet hook 3mm and 4ply yarn and started making it.Guys,as i am getting used to crocheting,i realised i am also becoming a perfectionist.I watch each stitch,each row to make my project flawless.
I started by making the pistil which was brown.I made 2 of them,one in brown and one in green.
Then I started making the petals to join them both.I took my yellow yarn and attached it to one stitch and started making petals.The pattern was dc,tc in 1 stitch then 5chain slip stitch in 1 stitch then tc,dc in next then slip stitch I guess.Actually i made it a long time ago and was unable to post it thats why I didn’t remember the pattern clearly.
Then i also added polyester to the center and a stick to make the stem of the flower.I completed the whole petals and then closed the row.
Then i took my green yarn and started wrapping it around the stick.I also made two small leaves and added them to the stem.I used UHU and glue gun for the adhesive purpose.
And it was complete.It turned out so good honestly.I was thinking to making a bouquet but i didn’t have things on hand so I postponed my plan until my summer holidays are finished.
