A veces cuando me siento algo perdida, me pongo a tejer esos muñecos que transmiten mensajes de la naturaleza, como plantas, animales y seres fantásticos.
Passiflora o Maracuyá como lo llamé, es uno de ellos. Esta vez me quedó de 24 cm de altura. Te comento que estuve a punto de ponerle boca, luego decidí mantener el estilo del diseñador Zabbez
Sometimes when I feel a bit lost, I start crocheting those dolls that convey messages from nature, such as plants, animals and fantastic beings.
Passiflora or Passion Fruit as I called it, is one of them. This time it was 9.4 inches high. I was about to put a mouth on it, but then I decided to keep the designer's style Zabbez.

Colocar un alfiler en medio del cuerpo, me ayudó como guía al momento de fijar la cabeza al cuerpo. Los otros alfileres sí tienen la función de sujetar la cabeza mientras voy cosiendo ambas partes. Para formar el gorrito sí hay bastante concentración, evitando dejar puntos sueltos.
Placing a pin in the center of the body, helped me as a guide when attaching the head to the body. The other pins do have the function of holding the head while I sew both parts. To form the hat there is a lot of concentration, avoiding loose stitches.
Para que tenga un parecido a la flor de Maracuyá, cambié el color de los pistilos de morado a verde claro. Creo que la parte del bordado (morado, blanco y azul) hacen que se asemeje más a una flor de Passiflora.
To make it resemble a Passion Fruit flower, I changed the color of the pistils from purple to light green. I think the embroidery part (purple, white and blue) makes it look more like a Passiflora flower.
Para la parte del bordado, el diseñador explica muy bien esta parte, usa gráficos indicando las formas de las figuras y los colores a usar.
For the embroidery part, the designer explains this part very well, using graphics indicating the shapes of the pictures and the colors to be used.
Esta vez tejí a Maracuyá como si fuese un niño, por eso bordé el rostro como la foto. Me estoy animando a tejer una Maracuyá niña y ponerle sus enormes pestañas, jaja. Un detalle importante de Maracuyá es el zarcillo que lleva en la mano. Al ser una planta trepadora, avanza o crece mediante ese zarcillo como guía.
Como mencioné al inicio, este diseño me recuerda qué es lo que tiene que llevar un muñeco para lograr transmitir un mensaje. Gracias Bas (Zabbez) por compartir tús diseños con la gente en todo ell mundo.

This time I crocheted Maracuyá as if she were a boy, so I embroidered the face like the picture. I'm getting excited to crochet a girl Maracuyá and put her huge eyelashes on her, jaja. An important detail of Maracuyá is the tendril she carries in her hand. Being a climbing plant, it advances or grows using that tendril as a guide.
