[ENG-SPA] 🐢Juana the turtle/Juana la tortuga🐢

Hi Hivers, hope you are well, special greetings to the #NeedleWorkMonday community. I wish you a happy and productive start to the week. I am so happy to share with you today, I missed you. This is already the last week of school, and I'm not so tight anymore, so I decided to make this post. I haven't been knitting for a while, a few days ago I celebrated one year on this beautiful platform, I promise I will dedicate a post to this special news. I missed a month because the four subjects I took in this mini semester needed all my attention, the good thing is that I got very good grades, in another post I will tell you about it. I made this turtle because it is one of my favorite pets, I named it "Juana" because my brother has a morrocoy named like that. Without further ado, let's see the process:

Hola Hivers, espero se encuentre bien, un saludo especial a la comunidad #NeedleWorkMonday. Les deseo un feliz y productivo inicio de semana. Estoy tan feliz de compartir hoy con ustedes, los extrañaba. Ya ésta es la última semana de clases, ya no estoy tan apretada, así que decidí hacer esta publicación. Tenía tiempo que no me dedicaba a tejer, hace pocos días cumplí un año en esta hermosa plataforma, prometo que le dedicaré una publicación a esa noticia tan especial. Me perdí un mes, porque las cuatro materias que metí en este mini semestre necesitaban de toda mi atención, lo bueno es que saqué muy buenas notas, en otra publicación les contaré. Hice esta tortuga porque es una de mis mascotas favoritas, le coloqué de nombre "Juana" porque mi hermano tiene una morrocoy que se llama así. Sin más, vamos a ver el proceso:

• I started with 6 low stitches in magic ring, in the next 8 rounds I made only increases.

• Comencé con 6 puntos bajos en anillo mágico, en las siguientes 8 rondas hice solo aumentos.

• I started with 6 single crochets in a magic ring, made 4 rounds of increases, then made 5 rounds of single crochets, decreased until the piece was closed. I left a long strand of yarn to sew.

• Inicié con 6 puntos bajos en un anillo mágico, hice 4 rondas de aumentos, luego hice 5 rondas de solo puntos bajos, disminuí hasta cerrar la pieza. Dejé hebra larga para coser.

• I cast on 6 low stitches in a magic ring, next round was increases, then cast on low stitches only, next round I cast on increases again, cast on 3 rounds of low stitches. I decreased, the next round I did only low stitches, decreased again, closed the piece and left long yarn to sew.

• Hice 6 puntos bajos en un anillo mágico, la siguiente ronda fue aumentos, luego hice solo puntos bajos, en la ronda siguiente hice aumentos otra vez, hice 3 rondas de puntos bajos. Diminuí, en la siguiente ronda hice solo puntos bajos, disminuí otra vez, cerré la pieza y dejé hebra larga para coser.

• I cast on 5 low stitches in a magic ring, next round was increases, then cast on low stitches only, next round I cast on increases again, cast on 3 rounds of low stitches. I decreased, the next round I did only low stitches, decreased again, closed the piece and left long strand to sew.

• Hice 5 puntos bajos en un anillo mágico, la siguiente ronda fue aumentos, luego hice solo puntos bajos, en la ronda siguiente hice aumentos otra vez, hice 3 rondas de puntos bajos. Diminuí, en la siguiente ronda hice solo puntos bajos, disminuí otra vez, cerré la pieza y dejé hebra larga para coser.

• I started with 6 single crochets in a magic ring, made 8 rows of increases, then made 10 rows of single crochets. I did one round of single crochet taking only the front strand, and finished by doing one round of single crochet.

• Inicié con 6 puntos bajos en un anillo mágico, hice 8 vueltas de aumentos, luego hice 10 vueltas de puntos bajos. Hice una ronda de puntos bajos tomando solo la hebra delantera, y terminé haciendo una vuelta de puntos bajos.

And that's it, that's how my crochet turtle Juana turned out. I loved making this turtle, I had been wanting to make it for a long time, and I made it for myself because I recently had my birthday and I didn't have the chance to make anything for myself, so with all the excitement I made this beautiful Juana turtle. Me encantó mucho hacer esta tortuga, tenía tiempo con ganas de hacerla, y la hice para mí porque hace poco cumplí años y como no me dio chance de hacerme nada para mí misma, así que con toda la emoción hice esta bella tortuguita Juana.
