Hace mucho no compartía contenido en esta comunidad, me he enfocado más en las manualidades y la comida, estoy tratando de retomar antiguos contenidos como el maquillaje y por supuesto la costura, se que venció el concurso con tela jeans, esto no se considerará dentro de las participaciones claramente, pero igual quise compartir lo que cree reusando un jeans, las opciones son infinitas para dar una segunda vida a esa tela que esta tomando polvo en nuestro armario, primero pensé en crear un soporte para teléfonos, finalmente me decidí por una billetera pero no en la forma convencional, sino con tres compartimentos que la hacen lucir más llamativa.

It's been a long time since I shared content in this community, I have focused more on crafts and food, I'm trying to resume old content such as makeup and of course sewing, I know that the jeans fabric contest expired, this will not be considered within the participations clearly, but I still wanted to share what I created reusing a jeans, the options are endless to give a second life to that fabric that is taking dust in our closet, first I thought of creating a phone holder, finally I decided on a wallet but not in the conventional way, but with three compartments that make it look more striking.

Confieso que tenía mucho sin coser y me costo un poco, por ello tomé el tiempo necesario para que quedara bien, hice cada costura con sumo cuidado, no tengo máquina de coser así que todo es hecho a mano, se tarda más desde luego pero también se pueden obtener muy buenos resultados, espero sea de utilidad este tutorial sin más iniciemos con el proceso.

I confess that I had a lot without sewing and it cost me a little, so I took the necessary time to get it right, I made each seam with great care, I do not have a sewing machine so everything is done by hand, it takes longer of course but you can also get very good results, I hope this tutorial is useful without further ado let's start with the process.

Materiales: || Materials:

▪️ Hojas de papel, tela de jeans, tela de forro fucsia, hilo y aguja, cierre mágico, tijeras, regla geométrica, (decoración: foami rosado y blanco, silicón líquido) y una plancha.

▪️ Sheets of paper, jeans fabric, fuchsia lining fabric, thread and needle, magic zipper, scissors, geometric ruler, (decoration: pink and white foami, liquid silicone) and a clothes iron.

Paso a paso: || Step by step:

Primer paso: || First step:

▪️ Empecé por crear el patrón, se necesita una hoja bastante grande, si tienen cartulina sería lo ideal, en mi caso tuve que unir varias hojas para conseguir las medidas deseadas (medidas en la imagen).

I started by creating the pattern, you need a fairly large sheet, if you have cardboard would be ideal, in my case I had to join several sheets to get the desired measures (measures in the image).

Segundo paso: || Second step:

▪️ Luego hice varios trazos para crear la forma del monedero.

I then made several strokes to create the shape of the purse.

Tercer paso: || Third step:

▪️ Como verán el siguiente paso fue recortar todas la forma, redondeé ligeramente los bordes de la solapa.

As you will see the next step was to cut out all the shapes, I slightly rounded the edges of the flap.

Cuarto paso: || Fourth step:

▪️ Tomé la primera tela que fue la de jeans, tracé el patrón usando un marcador (pueden usar tiza si poseen).

I took the first fabric which was jeans, traced the pattern using a marker (you can use chalk if you have it).

Quinto paso: || Fifth step:

▪️ Recorté la pieza con cuidado y repetí el proceso con el forro fucsia.

I carefully trimmed the piece and repeated the process with the fuchsia lining.

Sexto paso: || Sixth step:

▪️ Coloqué una pieza sobre la otra con las partes frontales hacia adentro, luego cosí todo el contorno dejando un espacio libre para luego poder dar vuelta.

I placed one piece on top of the other with the front parts facing in, then sewed all the way around, leaving a free space so that I could turn it inside out.

Séptimo paso: || Seventh step:

▪️ Después coser di vuelta a la pieza y cosí el lado que restaba, planché toda la pieza en la parte de tela de jeans.

After sewing I turned the piece over and sewed the remaining side, ironed the whole piece on the jeans fabric part.

Octavo paso: || Eighth step:

▪️ Llevé al centro uno de las partes laterales y pasé la plancha para marcar una línea, luego volví a doblar y pasé nuevamente la plancha (el proceso se repite en el otro lado).

I brought one of the side parts to the center and passed the iron to mark a line, then folded again and passed the iron again (the process is repeated on the other side).

Noveno paso: || Ninth step:

▪️ Doblé a la mitad la pieza como ven en la imagen, luego cosí por toda la segunda línea marcada.

I folded the piece in half as shown in the image, then sewed along the second marked line.

Décimo paso: || Tenth step:

▪️ Abrí las solapas y luego doblé a la mitad nuevamente, pero esta vez desde abajo hacia arriba, cosí el extremo derecho.

I opened the flaps and then folded in half again, but this time from the bottom up, sewed the right end.

Décimo primer paso: || Eleventh step:

▪️ En centro de la pieza estarán dos extremos sin coser, deben llevarse hacia afuera y coserse.

In the center of the piece there will be two unstitched ends, they should be brought out and sewn together.

Décimo segundo paso: || Twelfth step:

▪️ Ahora se tiene que dar forma a la billetera, simplemente deben ir moldeando y colocando cada extremo en su lugar, para poder cerrar y abrir la billetera le pegué un trozo de cierre mágico, además decoré con un pequeño lazo hecho con foami unido a la billetera con silicón líquido.

Now you have to shape the wallet, simply mold and place each end in its place, to be able to close and open the wallet I glued a piece of magic clasp, I also decorated it with a small bow made with foami attached to the wallet with liquid silicone.

¿Qué les ha parecido esta billetera? el proceso es muy sencillo, se debe tener en cuenta realizar correctamente los dobles, ese el truco para obtener la forma deseada de esta creación, la decoración es opcional pueden seguir paso a paso lo que hice, o decorar como deseen.
