Good evening family, trust you all are doing well, today I will show you how I cut and sew a baby gown , using my Ankara material, cushion material, lining,zip and my gum still.
I start by cutting the the upper side of the gown, for the front and back side by ten inches and the neck wideness by three inches and the length also by three inches and I give out my one inches allowance for my zip for the back side.
Then I proceeded to cut out my flee using my cushion material by seven inches.
And I also cut out my flee for the down part using my Ankara material by twenty five inches.
After cutting all that I needed, I also proceed to cut out my lining for each part of it cause everything will be needing lining, and for the cushion material I have to cut out my gum still for it iron it to gum before fixing the lining in other to have a neat work.

After fixing my lining I now proceed to iron each part of it, and for the cushion material when ironing it you have to be very careful not to allow it to get burn, ensure that your iron is on a low heat before ironing it, and for the flee to you iron it through inside where the lining is and you have to start the ironing at the extreme edge of it for it to be sleepy, before ironing the other part of the flee, you also have to iron the inside before ironing outside.
After all that I proceed to join everything together fix my zip and this is the outcome and how it looks like.
