Good evening hivers, good evening @needleworkmonday I'm here again today with a new design of a two steps peplum top and a six pieces skirt.
Materials needed.
Ankara fabric, lining, zip, chalk, gum still, baby lace, aiming gum, tape, scissor, and breast foam.
I started with the skirt by folding up my material by two,I ensure it gives me the length and width I need.
After that I measure from the waist to the knee point which is twenty two, then I measure out the hip side by adding one inches from the waist which I removed five inches in both side, also at the knee point I removed five inches from both sides, using my chalk to trace it out after which I cut it.
I proceed to cut out the middle part for the front using same measurement, but I removed the one inches added for hip.
After that I proceed to cut the middle part of the back, by folding the front into two and place it on the fabric and give out one point five inches allowance for zip.
I proceed to sew each part together the same time with the lining, after that I iron both part and here it is.
I join the both side together and here is the skirt.
Now moving to the top
I started by cutting the back by sixteen inches for the length, measure out the hand pit by eight inches, neck length by five inches and the width is also five inches.
I now cut out the front part which I will be putting Brest foam, so I removed six inches from the top, cause I will adding the baby lace there.
Now I proceed to cut out the fley for the top I folded the fabric by four, and still fold it by two again measure out the length for first fley by eleven inches and the second one by nine inches, and I proceed to cut the top of the fley by three inches for both include the lace.
I cut the hand using the baby lace.
After the cutting, I cut out lining for each part of it, breast part and gum still for the fley.
I proceed to fixed the lining for the back side and put in the dart, sew the breast part and also attached the lace at the top of it and this is it.
I proceed to fixed the gum still on the fabric and iron it to gum.
So for the small fley after putting the gum still I fixed the baby lace on it first.
After that I proceed to fixed the lining for the both fley.
Now before joining it together, I first join the half cut which is the back and the front together and fix the hand.
For the fley I started by fixing the small one, after that I fixed the bigger one and put the zip and here is the top.
And that's all about the outfit.
Thank you for checking.
