Hello everybody,
Yeah, the Crochetist table was busy, making croptop this morning. Crochetist meaning crochet artist, I just coined it for my own perusal. Someone asked me, so, here it is that's the meaning.
Back to my table. Today, am sharing you what my student online crochet beginner want to learn to make, the triangular bra shape for crop top. The top that am making now for myself is not a plan project.
There was an available diagram and pattern in words but beginners could not understand the symbols and the pattern in words as well. So, I videod how to start. After the video of the triangular shape I sampled, I did'nt want to frogged it either. Hmm, I thought, why not make for my own crop top, but am not daring enough to show my cleavage because am flat chested and a grandma! Sssh...don't react, hehehe...It was good I nailed it, easily. I love the result of the new top design.
I used indophil 4 ply fine cotton and 2.5mm hook.
Pattern: triad shape bra, make 2.
Round(Rnd) 1: With color maroon, in a ring, Chain(ch) 3, considered as 1st dc made, 2 double crochet(dc), ch 2, 3 dc, ch2, 3dc, ch 2, close with slip in 3rd ch of beginning(beg) ch 3.
Rnd 2: ch 3, 1dc in each dc, 2 dc - ch 2 - 2dc in to ch2 space(sp), repeat (rep) all around.
Rnd 3 to Rnd 10: just repeat process same as Rnd 2, cut longer, weave ends.
Sew both triangle at the center, using big needle.
Then continue until the triad becomes Rnd 14. then, 4 st before arriving at the center, 1 hdc in each 2 hdc, 1 single crochet (sc) in each 2 st, connect or transfer to the other triangle by slip stitch(sl st) continue up to Rnd 14, Weave ends.
I made the simple granny square as a filler center of the crop top then I sew at the center, then crochet a thick 8ply yarn 150 ch as the neckpiece.
Sewing the center design of the granny to cover the center of crop top...
Just until here folks, next post will be part 2 for lower and back part, so, I can wear it, excited me!
