✨ I started by separating the shoulder portion of my mid-yellow-green blouse, as the bottom portion I was going to use was to make the lower part of my dress. Then I took the sheer fabric and trimmed the sleeves a bit, as these would be used for the sash of my dress, creating a defined and beautiful silhouette.

Comence separando la parte de los hombros de mi blusa amarilla media verdecita, pues la parte que iba a emplear era la parte de abajo para hacer la parte baja de mi vestido.
Luego tome la transparente y recorte un poco las mangas, pues estas serian empleadas para el fajin de mi vestido, logrando una silueta marcada y bonita.

✨ Once cut, I pinned the bottom of the blouse, attaching the sash to it. Then I sewed a straight stitch, leaving a generous seam allowance, as this would create a small space to tuck an elastic band through, keeping it hidden.

Una vez recortada procedi a colocar alfileres a la parte baja de la blusa, uniendo el fajin a la misma. Luego pase una costura recta dejando un buen margen de costura, pues con este haria un pequeño espaciopara pasar un elástico, quedando oculto.

✨️ Once this entire process was complete, I proceeded to make the lower part of my dress. To do this, I took the lower part and divided it into two parts (front and back). Then, I gathered the front part with a hand needle, while I hemmed the back and threaded elastic, giving it a nice, bow-shaped finish. I took the two pieces and joined them with a straight seam, finishing with a tack stitch to prevent the fabric from fraying.

Una vez realizado todo este proceso, procedi a unir la parte de arriba con la parte de abajo, pues esta ya estaba bastante adelantada. Pase una costura recta, y sacando poco a poco los alfileres que sujetaban ambas piezas. En esta zona también deje un margen amplio para pasar un elástico.

✨️ Once the elastics are in place, sew a small seam in the holes left open to pass the elastic through. Hem the sleeves of the dress and thread an elastic through them, giving it a more beautiful and youthful finish.

Una vez colocados los elasticos, realice una pequeña costura en los orificios que habian quedado abiertos para pasar el elástico. Realice los dobladillos a las mangas del vestido y pase un elástico por dentro, dandole un acabado mas bonito y juvenil.
