Today I would love to share a nice and productive tutorial, where I reused a nice lady's skirt, using a small portion of enlicrada fabric. Creating a unique style, comfortable and ideal for after bath, allowing you to look pretty and feminine.

El dia de hoy me encantaría compartir una linda modificación realizada a petición de una clienta, a un vestido a cuadros con un estilo años 50, una belleza la verdad.
✨ For this clothing upcycling project, I made the most of every scrap of fabric. So, I took two finger-widths of fabric from the bottom of my dress and made some cute straps. This client doesn't like tops at all, and she ends up cutting and redesigning all the garments that have that style. Now that I had a clear idea of the style and design I wanted to create, I got to work.
Para este proyecto de reciclado de ropa aproveche al maximo cada liston o recorte de tela. Asi que tome dos deditos de ancho de la parte baja de mi vestido, hacer unos lindos tirantes, pues a esta clienta no le gusta para nada los top, y todos los modelos de premdas que tienen ese estilo, termina picandolos y rediseñandolos.
Ya teniendo claro el estilo y modelo que deseaba ejecutar, me puse manos a la obra.

✨ I started this project by trimming about 3 fingers' width off the bottom of my dress, as this will be the material used to make the straps. Once trimmed, I cut them into 4 strips of the same size and shape.

Comence este proyecto recortando aproximadamente 3 dedos de ancho a la parte baja de mi vestido, pues este serie el material utilizado para ejecutar los tirantes.
Una vez recortados, los pique haciendo 4 listones del mismo tamaño, y misma forma.

✨ Once trimmed, take two of the strips and pin them together at the hems. Then, sew a straight stitch with a long stitch along the other edge and both ends, leaving only one side unstitched.
Then I turned it right side out and sewed a seam, leaving a 2cm margin, and then threaded an elastic band through it. Once the elastic was through, I sealed each corner with a stitch and placed them on the blouse, making sure they were positioned evenly.

Una vez recotada, tome dos de los listones y los sujete con ayuda de alfileres, por la parte de los dobladillos. Luego pase una costura recta con una puntada larga por todo el otro borde y las dos puntas, dejando solo una de las caras sin coser.
Luego lo veltee al derecho y pase una costura dejando 2cm de margen, para luego pasarle un elastico. Una vez pasado el elástico, selle con una puntada cada esquina, y los coloque en la blusa, asegurandome que quedaran bien colocados con la misma distancia.

De esta forma quedo una nueva prenda de vestir, elegante, con estilo y a la moda. Un bello conjunto ideal para cualquier temporada, que hara que la pequeña de casa luzca radiante y bella.
