Blessed Monday my dearest Needleworkmonday colleagues, I am very happy to greet you again from my creative corner. I'm excited to tell you a little about my new project in progress. It is an embroidery project that I started this weekend and I am very excited about.

This weekend I was a bit busier than usual so I took the opportunity to rest my mind a bit from so much theoretical work and I decided to do some manual work that could connect me with my creative and artisan spirit. My first impulse was to grab my crochet needles and start knitting a small and simple project. However, by the third round of the project my wrists and right elbow started to hurt, so I immediately gave up. The last thing I really want is to hurt my elbow again.

After declining the crochet project, I decided to start an embroidery project that I had been wanting to do for a long time. It's about some sunflowers that I drew a few weeks ago on a grid, it's a pixelated drawing that I made precisely with the intention that I could use it as a pattern for cross stitch embroidery.

I was very happy to get back to doing the things I love and to get back to creating. I am aware that this project will take me some time to finish it because I don't have a lot of free time to dedicate to it, but what is really important to me is not the result itself, but the creative process and the moment I can dedicate to doing something I like. For now I share with you this small beginning, but soon I will be sharing the progress and the final result. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
