Granny squares have always been my fascination and weakness when it comes to crochet. Every time I see a project made with grannies, it makes me want to crochet it. That's how I came up with this project that consists of making a curtain with several granny squares.

Tejer es una actividad que me relaja mucho y me ayuda a centrarme y conectar con mis emociones internas, por lo cual más que una actividad manual, considero que el crochet es mi mejor terapia.
This project is one of several projects that I have written down in my Bucket list. The truth is that I have not been able to complete most of the projects on my list, since I have not had enough time to dedicate myself fully to work on them. For now there are many activities that occupy my time; however, I always do my best to set aside a few hours of my Sunday off to dedicate to my knitting projects.
Knitting is an activity that relaxes me a lot and helps me to focus and connect with my inner emotions, so more than a manual activity, I consider crochet to be my best therapy.

The original idea of this curtain made with granny squares I saw it for the first time on Pinterest, from the first moment I loved the idea, I think it's because of the style a bit Hippie, the truth is that I wrote it down as a pending task. After moving, I realized that in my work room there was a window that needed to be covered, after covering the space with two anime sheets lined with white fabric, I noticed that the space looked monotonous and boring, so it occurred to me to decorate it with the grannies curtain that I had seen before on the web.

The materials to be used had to be very colorful, so I looked for some yarns that I brought from Peru, combined them with raw pabilo yarn and started the adventure of knitting many granny squares. I confess that there were not as many as I would have liked because I ran out of material. I wanted a slightly longer curtain, but I'll settle for this one for now. In total there were 30 squares and I made 6 rows of 5 squares each.

I completed this project on Sunday afternoon, today morning I was very excited to hang the curtain in my room. This is the second woven project I have made for our studio, I like it because it gives it a very personal touch. It is nice to have something knitted in every space of the house because it is a sign of affection and dedication to my family and my home. It was a pleasure to share with you one more of my crochet projects. Thank you for reading, greetings and blessings.
