Good morning to you all hive leaders, how are we all fairing this weekend ? hope you enjoyed your day. Today for me was so stressful 🥺,I was working all day at my work place, sewing some of my customers clothes and I have to return it to them first thing tomorrow morning so u can imagine what I have been passing through out today 🥺 but I thank God for giving me the straight 💪to sew them and also finish on time.
I wasn't able to go out today to have fun with my friends because I was so busy with the cloth so there was no time for me at all but I give thanks to God almighty for giving me the straight to finish all the cloth on time and I went home to rest 🛌🛌.
Working tools :there are so many gum in one cloth, those are the things that makes up the nice look of the men's wear such as cloth gum, heirstay gum, lightstay gum, hemming gum, scissors,tap.
back piece:first of all I started with the back view.
I cut out the back turning called back piece and I start preparing the back piece, first of all, I cut the material by sideways and heirstay it,then I carried the two to ironing table and gum it with hot iron, after I finish gum the back piece,I bend It with a design for the pieces then I used iron and divided it be two and the back of the cloth too before I carried the back piece and pest on the back middle, then put hrming gum under and press it with hot iron before I start sewing the back piece.
before I bend the front of cloth with iron to give me a middle point then I put scissors on the middle that I bend and cut it by two inches before I joined the shoulder, after the joining of the shoulder I prepare the neck call (pepping) I cut the the pieces of material in a bayas form an I bend it with iron before i used hemming gum under and gum it before I bend again and fix on neck, and after fixing the pepping I carried it to ironing table and iron the neck.
Before I start with the flap, by cutting two pieces of the material in bayas form, before I stay with lightstay cloth gum, then I sew and join the two pieces together to give me a (V) shaped, before I carried it to ironing table and ironing it. after that I draw were the flap will fixed with pencil I took 2 inches for the front opening were the flap will fix then I cut the line by one inche then the other 1 inche is the bending that I will bend inside. After the bending of were the flap will fix, i carried the flap and fixed and i used hemming gum under so that it will be easy for me to sew.
pocket view I cut the pieces of the material the same bayas like flap and I stay it and sew it an join, so that it will give me the same (V) shaped like the flap then I press open it with iron after joining, before I bend the upside and put hemming gum then I bend it round then I placed it on the front and sew.
sleeve I cut the turning by sideways then I stay before I sew. three quarter sleeve.
