PASO A PASO PARA HACER EL COJÍN CON MOTIVO DE GATO 🐈‍⬛

STEP BY STEP TO MAKE THE CUSHION WITH A CAT REASON 🐈‍⬛

Lo primero que vamos a hacer es cortar cuadros de Jeans en diferentes tonos, para mí cojín use dos tonos de Jean uno más oscuro que el otro, en total utilice nueve cuadrados de 15 cm por cada lado

Vamos a unir intercalando los colores, uno claro uno oscuro, y así darle un mejor efecto del color, cada union la vamos a hacer por el lado derecho de la tela ya que el modelo de este cojín es de flecos en cada unión, en el centro de mi cojín dejé el cuadrado de el color más claro, luego en un retazo de Jean oscuro corté la figura de una cara de gatito, También corte la forma de dos patitas pequeñas

Cosi la carita de gatito a mi tela con costura de zig zag dándole un efecto de bordado, para las orejitas le coloqué un pequeño retazo de tela azul rey, le hice cada detalle a la carita de gatito con costuras rectas, también le borde las patitas, todo esto lo hice con mi máquina, en otras ocasiones ya había usado esta técnica con mi máquina, puedes crear cualquier tipo de figura que desees cosiéndolo por las orillas con la costura de zig zag o la costura de tu preferencia, para este tipo de costura debemos tener un poco de paciencia y nos quedará muy lindo los diseños que queremos

Para la parte trasera de mi cojin use una tela en azul oscuro de una falda escolar que ya no usaban mis hijas porque estaba muy deteriorada , y aquí logré darle un segundo uso utilizandola para mí cojin, para poder hacer los flecos vamos a cortar cada orilla de cada unión como muestro en mi imagen y luego nos vamos a ayudar con una aguja para poder hilachar todas las partes del cojín, este proceso es un poco fastidioso pero así lograremos un modelo único y hermoso para decorar.

For the back of my cushion I used a dark blue fabric from a school skirt that my daughters no longer used because it was very deteriorated, and here I managed to give it a second use using it for my cushion, to be able to make the fringes we are going to cut each edge of each union as I show in my image and then we are going to help ourselves with a needle to get all the parts of the cushion, this process is a bit tedious but this way we will achieve a unique and beautiful model to decorate.

No pude rellenar mi cojín ya que el anime sobrante que tenía de un puff se me acabó, más adelante los rellenaré con algún otro material, lo importante es que ya está listo, por ahora les muestro el trabajo final de mi cojín decorativo con motivo de gatito, espero les guste

Para poder forrar mis sillas con Jeans corte tiras de varios Jeans que tenía a la mano, estas tiras las corté de aproximadamente 4 cm de ancho, las cuales cosí una con la otra y luego coser como normalmente hacemos las trabillas para los pantalones

En total me salieron 20 m de tira, para este trabajo me pareció una idea excelente trenzar las sillas con jeans, ya que así quedarán muchísimo más resistentes y de un modelo que no he visto, me gusta mucho hacer cosas que tenga solo yo esa es la magia de coser 🪡 🧵 tus propias prendas que creas cosas únicas y originales

Lo principal que hice fue retirar todo el trensado viejo de mi silla hasta dejar solo los hierros

Para comenzar el trenzado de mi silla busque la punta de mi tira la cual fije con costura y así evitar que se suelte, el proceso para este trenzado es sencillo, primero en forma vertical, fijando en la orilla de abajo, luego le damos una vuelta en la cabilla del centro luego una vuelta en la cabilla de arriba y nos devolvemos nuevamente al centro luego a la cabilla de la orilla de abajo, al finalizar trenzamos en forma horizontal entrelazando las tiras para que quede bien tejida.

Cómo en todos mis proyectos de Jeans reciclados mi realidad ha sido muchísimo mejor que las expectativas que tengo al imaginarme mi trabajo ya listo, de verdad que me imaginaba poder hacer muchas cosas con Jeans reciclado pero jamás me imaginé que podían quedar tan hermosas, al terminar de trenzar mi silla mis hijos al verla se sorprendieron, me felicitaron diciéndome que estaba demasiado hermosa, me sentí muy orgullosa al finalizar este proyecto, es demasiado satisfactorio cuando puedes hacer las cosas tu misma , y aquí está el resultado: mi silla forrada en Jeans reciclado
