Hello dear hiver,
Happy new week to all my friends on hive and how is our day going, first of all I want to appreciate my friends on hive and community's who has always view my post and word of encouragement all the time I really appreciate and I promise to be always creative.
Today I will like to share with u all how I made this simple A shape gown for my customer child though this fabric was also used for the mum and I used the remaining fabrics for the daughter .
Cutting and sewing step
I folded the fabrics into four then took the body measurements from shoulder to waistline is 12" and gown length is 35" then the hip measurement is 10" folded.
The neck measurement for the front is 3" wide by 3" length after cutting the the front I place the front on the material to cut out the back I folded the zipper allowance first then I measure 3" wide for neck for the back then 2"length .
After cutting the main fabrics I cut out the lining.
After cutting the lining I cut out 6" width and long enough for pleating of the sleeve and the front
Styles and it also go around to the back .
Sewing step
I turn the fabrics with lining then I fixed the zipper and I made a ruffles head band and iron it .
Finishing
The dress was neatly sew and it came out beautiful and unique 🥰🥰🤗
