Today I want to share with you all how i reupholst a car seat with some simple steps.

Without writing much I will love to go straight to the point.

Here I want to share with you all how I reupholst this beautiful seat show below 👇

Here is the seat before

The reason for working on this seat is because the owner want to change from clothes to leather because cloth is fast to be dirty and smell when water touch.

Car seat is not the only thing I work on but on all car interior.

Steps follow to make the above finished work come to real

Step 1
The first step to take is to loose the seat from the car to where you will conduct your work, ie shop.
After that I now go to market to purchase a leather the will best match with the interior of the car. Here is the leather using for the work.

Step 2
Ditch out the side cover and then unclip the seat from the main flame for easy upholstery and measurement.

Step 3
With the help of sewing tape take the vertical length and the horizontal length and the write it out on the seat for easy identification.

Step 4
Still with your sewing tape mark out those length on your new leather consider the vertical and the horizontal length the you now use your long range to join them together.

After that you now cut them out.

Step 5
Here in this step you now place the material you cut on the position you measure and then use choak and carefully draw the shape out has it is in the old seat and then place in on a roof material for it to have thinkness and smooth also, gum it together and then cut it out for sewing.

Step 6
You now use your sewing machine to join them together has it is in the old seat and remember to join another material at where the seat it clip.

Step 7
You now cover your seat with the new sew material and clip it together to bring out the design.

Finally I now tight back the seat and here is the outcome
