Hello #Needleworkmonday. Today I share with you this cute tutorial of a crochet knitted pattern of an animal called armadillo. Making this pattern in parallel, watching with my family an LMB baseball game, and I managed, to finish it. I'll give you the instructions. I hope you like them.
Hola #Needleworkmonday. Hoy les comparto este lindo tutorial de un tejido a crochet de un animal llamado armadillo. Haciendo este patrón en paralelo, viendo con mi familia un juego de béisbol LMB, y logré, terminarlo. Paso a dar las instrucciones. Espero que les gusten.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Orange and shaded worsted yarn.
- Crochet needle Nº 4.
- 01 button.
- Hilo estambre color naranja y matizado.
- Aguja crochet Nº 4.
- 01 botón.
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
Ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
aum: increases.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
Ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
pa: punto alto.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
Circles (02).
Color orange
- v1: magic ring, 6 mp, pr, close.
- v2: we go up a chain, in the same space where we made the pr, 1 st, repeat 12.
- v3; single stitch, put in a mark, 1 st, 1 st, 1 mp, 1 st, 1 st, 1 mp, repeat.
- v4: 1 mp, 1 mp, 1 aum, repeat sequence.
- v5: 1mp, 1 mp, 1 mp, 1 mp, 1 aum, repeat, pr, 1 chs, cut and hide yarn.
- Make another piece the same.
Yarn shade.
After we have the two pieces, we will join through 10 chs, and the elastic stitch, until we cover 18 stitches. Cut and knot yarn.
Then make 10 chs, with pr on the other piece. Return in the third mp, we continue until we cover all 10, in the next with pr. We enter rib in the 3rd ch up, turn knit.

- v3; un punto solo, ponemos una marcar, 1 aum, 1 mp, 1 aum, 1 mp, repetir.
- v4: 1 mp, 1 mp, 1 aum, repetir secuencia.
- v5: 1mp, 1 mp, 1 mp, 1 aum, repetir, pr, 1 chs, cortar y ocultar hilo.
- Hacer otra pieza igual.
Hilo matizado.
Luego de tener las dos piezas, lo uniremos a través de 10 chs, y el punto elástico, hasta cubrir 18 puntos. Cortamos y anudamos hilo.
Entonces hacer 10 chs, con pr en la otra pieza. Devolver en el tercer mp, seguimos hasta cubrir todas las 10, en el siguiente con pr. Entramos de costilla en el 3.er subir ch, girar tejido.Tapa color naranja.
- Dejar 10 espacios. En el centro insertamos hilo naranja y hacemos 10 chs, devolvemos en el 5 espacios según el tamaño del botón pr, pa hasta cubrir los puntos.
- Hacer 4 pa, pr, 1 ch, girar, 4 mp, luego 1 aum, 1 mp, repetir secuencia todo el círculo de botón, 4 mp, pr.
- 1 ch, girar, mp en cada espacio, volver a repetir la vuelta y cortar, anudar hilo.

The purse is very colorful because of the use of colored yarn, I saw the YouTube notification yesterday afternoon, I liked it so much that I immediately looked for the material and started knitting.
This is an armadillo design, in our country Venezuela they call this animal cachicamo, which when it feels some danger it rolls itself up like a ball, this fabric is very similar to it.
The size is ideal to keep the bank card and some bills. This design can be enlarged if we want to make a wallet or purse, it would be increasing the circle with more turns.
This weaving is easy, therefore, I finished it last night around 11 pm.
And I wanted to share it today because I am so excited about making it.
… Y listo el monedero estilo armadillo o cachicamo
Este monedero es muy colorido por el uso de hilo matizado, vi la notificación de Youtube ayer en la tarde, me gustó tanto que inmediatamente busqué el material y me dispuse a tejer.
Este es un diseño de armadillo, en nuestro país Venezuela se les dice a este animal cachicamo, el cual cuando él siente algún peligro se enrolla a sí mismo parecido a una bola, este tejido se asemeja bastante a él.
El tamaño es ideal para guardar la tarjeta del banco y algunos billetes. Este diseño se puede agrandar si deseamos hacer una cartera o bolso, sería aumentando el círculo con más vueltas.
Este tejido es fácil, por tanto, lo terminé anoche más a de las 11 de la noche.
Y quise compartirlo hoy porque estoy muy emocionada por su elaboración.
