Hello dear #Needleworkmonday community. I made this project yesterday and I want to share because I know there are many people who love this beautiful sunflower flower 🌻.
I made this square with crochet thread and was inspired by the previous granny with the center and worm stitch in brown and the yellow petals for the sunflower in pineapple stitch. I'm moving on to the tutorial.

Este cuadrado lo hice con hilo crochet y me inspiré en el granny anterior con el centro y el punto gusano en marrón y los pétalos amarillo para el girasol en punto piña. Paso al tutorial.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Yellow, brown, green and white crochet thread.
- Crochet needle Nº2.
- Hilo crochet amarillo, marrón, verde y blanco.
- Aguja crochet Nº2.

Ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
aum: increases.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
Ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
pa: punto alto.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
Color brown.
- Make a magic ring, 3 chs, 11 st, pr. Close.
- 3 chs, knit the worm stitch, which consists of knitting three loops and passing the last loop through the three loops, knit 1 ch of separation, repeat sequence x 11, pr. Knot, cut and hide yarn.
Color marrón.
- Hacer un anillo mágico, 3 chs, 11 pa, pr. Cerrar.
- 3 chs, hacemos el punto gusanito, que consisten hacer lazada tres veces y la ultima lazada pasarla por las tres asas, hacemos 1 chs de separación, repetir secuencia x 11, pr. Anudar, corta y ocultar hilo.
Yellow color.
- Insert yellow yarn in a space, knit pineapple stitch: 3 chs, 2 st, drop handle, put needle in first st and pull handle, repeat sequence x 11 times, 2 chs apart, pr.
- Repeat two pineapple stitches in each space, thus knitting 24 petals, pr.
- Knot, cut and hide yarn.
Color amarillo.
- Insertar el hilo amarillo en un espacio, hacer punto piña: 3 chs, 2 pa, soltar asa, meter la aguja en el primer pa y halar el asa, repetir secuencia x 11 veces, con 2 chs de separación, pr.
- Repetir dos puntos piña en cada espacio, así tejemos 24 pétalos, pr.
- Anudar, corta y ocultar hilo.
Color green.
- Insert green yarn, we make a corner with( 02 pa,2 chs, 2 pa), 2 pa x5, corner, repeat sequence and pr.
- In round 6, we start corner(2 pa, a chs, 2 pa), then in the following spaces we make 1 pa in each space x 12, pr.
- Knot, cut and hide yarn.
Color verde.
- Insertar el hilo verde, hacemos una esquina con( 02 pa,2 chs, 2 pa), 2 pa x5, esquina, repetir secuencia y pr.
- En la vuelta 6, iniciamos esquina(2 pa, a chs, 2 pa), luego en los siguientes espacios hacemos 1 pa en cada espacio x 12, pr.
- Anudar, corta y ocultar hilo.
Color white.
- We finish in the last lap mp in all spaces, pr.
Color blanco.
- Finalizamos en la última vuelta mp en todos los espacios, pr.

Me encantan los girasoles, y mayormente observar las flores grandes, porque cuando mi mamá tenía unos en su jardín, y cuando se secaba la flor, ella nos dijo que se podía comer sus semillas, y la probé, sabía a coco.
En la actualidad es difícil ver esta planta floreada y cuando la observo en algún jardín realmente admiro a quien la tiene. Cuando compro semillas para los loros, esa semilla la sembré una vez, es de las pequeñas, pero se me secó, es un poco delicada.
