Hello 😀! Today I want to share some pumpkins🎃 bicolor, why? After I made my previous pumpkins link, I went to my fridge and saw the pumpkin I had to make a cream or puree. The idea came to me to weave one in two colors as you see in this photo naturally.
I looked for the colors to make a two-color green-white one and a purple-white one for my daughter, you know it is one of her favorite colors. I indicate in 3 steps the process.
¡Hola 😀! Hoy quiero compartir unas calabazas🎃 bicolores, ¿por qué? Después que hice mis calabazas anterior enlace, fui a mi nevera y vi la calabaza que tenía para preparar una crema o puré. Me vino la idea de tejer una de dos colores como se ve en esta foto naturalmente.
Y me animé, busqué los colores para hacer unas bicolores entre verde-blanco y otra morada-blanco para mi hija, ustedes saben que es uno de sus colores preferidos. Indico en 3 pasos el proceso.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Green, white and purple crochet thread.
- Crochet needle Nº 5.
- Wool needle.
- 02 keychains.
- Stuffing.
- Hilo crochet color verde, blanco y morado.
- Aguja crochet Nº 5.
- Aguja lanera.
- 02 llaveros.
- Relleno.
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
Ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
aum: increases.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
Ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
pa: punto alto.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
STEP 1
Color white.
- Make 18 chs (05 cm), return in the third 16 mpa, 2 chs, turn knit, 1 mpa in the upper strand repeat the mpa in the rest of the stitches.
Green color.
- Insert yarn color green 2 chs, and turn again, 1 mpa in the upper strand, repeat the mpa in the rest of the stitches.
Repeat the above alternating the colors until you reach 25 rounds (13 cm).
STEP 2
- Sew both ends with mp with the same crochet needle or with the wool needle through the outer strand.
- Knot and cut enough yarn to gather the lower part with the wool needle.
STEP 3
- Turn over, stuff and gather the upper part and pull it until the desired shape is obtained.
- Then with the yarn, make the slits by pulling and passing the wool needle through the center until you see the pumpkin shape 🎃.
Green and white shell (04)
- Magic ring, 6 mp, pr.
- 6 aug (12).
- 1 aug, 1 mp, repeat.
Brown stem (02)
- 5 cm of yarn, tie knot, 6 chs, return mp in first ch, 5 cm of yarn and cut.
- Then the above is inserted into the center part of the green shell, and this is inserted and knotted into the top center part of the pumpkin.
- Then the shell is sewn or glued into the pumpkin.
PASO 1
Color blanco.
- Hacer 18 chs (05 cm), devolver en la tercera 16 mpa, 2 chs, girar tejido, 1 mpa en la hebra superior repetir el mpa en el resto de los puntos.
Color verde.
- Insertar el hilo color verde 2 chs, y volver a girar, 1 mpa en la hebra superior, repetir el mpa en el resto de los puntos.
Repetimos lo anterior alternando los colores hasta alcanzar las 25 vueltas. (13 cm).PASO 2
- Cosemos ambos extremos con mp con la misma aguja crochet o con la lanera por la hebra externa.
- Se anuda y corta hilo suficiente para fruncir la parte inferior con la aguja lanera.
PASO 3
- Se voltea, rellena y se frunce la parte superior y se hala hasta obtener la forma deseada.
- Luego con el hilo se hace las hendiduras halando y pasando la aguja lanera por el centro hasta ver la forma de calabaza 🎃.
Concha verde y blanca (04)
- Anillo mágico, 6 mp, pr.
- 6 aum (12).
- 1 aum, 1 mp, repetir.
Tallo marrón (02)
- 5 cm de hilo, hacer nudo, 6 chs, devolver mp en la primera ch, 5 cm de hilo y cortar.
- Luego lo anterior se inserta en la parte central de la concha verde, y este se inserta y se anuda en la parte central superior de la calabaza.
- Después se cose o pega la concha en la calabaza.

Taking advantage of the weather and the rainy atmosphere, I made this knitting of pumpkins, since I've got the urge to have Halloween accessories 🎃, to go adding the mini collection of them. They knit up in no time and are great for beginners to 3D knitting like amigurumis.
These new designs of bicolor pumpkins, are allegorical figures, which will serve to celebrate Halloween this October. In a few days I will be presenting another version of them.

Aprovechando el tiempo y el ambiente lluvioso, realicé este tejido de calabazas, ya que me ha entrado las ganas de tener accesorios de Halloween 🎃, para ir sumando la mini colección de ellas. Se tejen en poco tiempo y son ideales para las principiantes del tejido en 3D como los amigurumis.
Estos nuevos diseños de calabazas bicolores, son figuras alegóricas, que servirán para celebrar Halloween este mes de octubre. Dentro de unos días estaré presentando otra versión de ellas.
The purple pumpkin will be worn by my daughter as pendants on her backpack, as she will be starting her semester at college by the end of the month.
La calabaza morada la lucirá mi hija como colgantes en el morral, ya que para finales de mes empezará el semestre en la universidad.
We observed that the effect of the two colors was achieved as the natural pumpkin, here in Venezuela we call it auyama, a highly prized vegetable to make puree, creams, in soups and as a dessert.
Observamos que se logró el efecto de los dos colores como la calabaza natural, aquí en Venezuela la llamamos auyama, verdura muy preciada para hacer puré, cremas, en sopas y como postre.
