Hi, fashion lovers! how are you all doing? Today, I'm excited to share with you guys in the Needlework community how I made this beautiful madam blouse.
I created this madam blouse for a client who needed it urgently for a meeting she needed to attend. I finished the blouse within 6hours and delivered it to her the next day. Sorry I didn't capture all the entire process because I was in rush but I'll break it down for you guys here.
MATERIAL USED;
- Gold yellow satin
- Organza
- lining
- Zip
- Bra
- pad
- Gold yellow thread
- Scissors, tape, and measuring ruler.
HOW I MADE THIS BEAUTIFUL MADAM BLOUSE
- firstly, I created a sketch design I'm working with. Sketching helps me remember all the details.
- I used pattern paper to take all the whole measurements, then place it on the fabric to cut out.
- Next, I moved to my machine to join the fabric pieces together, added topstitching before sewing the bra cup on the fabric and here's the outcome.
- I pinned the lining on the main fabric and stitched it up. I finished the bodice before I moved onto the sleeves.
- For the sleeve, I'm making use of organza. I measured 8Inches into 7 places to create the rose design I'm attaching on the sleeve. After closing up the hemline, I sewed the rose onto the sleeve and this was the result.
- After attaching the rose flower on the sleeve, I sewed the sleeve to the bodice and here's my final results. It's stunning, embodying luxury and royalty. The color gives it a majestic look.
