El día de hoy les quise compartir este shorts pijama que hice a petición de mi hijo. Ya que desde hace días que el abuelo saco ese Shorts de su closet y lo iba a tirar porque estaba ya muy usado y la elástica no servía.
Era uno de sus preferidos, ya que la tela es muy suave...y bueno estaba con mi hijo cuando estaba ordenando y se lo dio a él para me lo diera y tirará o a lo mejor lo podía usar en mis trabajos manuales.
Today I wanted to share this pajama shorts that I made at the request of my son. Since for days the grandfather took out that Shorts from his closet and was going to throw it away because it was already very worn and the elastic was useless.
It was one of his favorites, since the fabric is very soft... and well, I was with my son when he was tidying up and he gave it to me so he could throw it away or maybe I could use it in my crafts.
Pero que me dijo el niño, mami quiero que me hagas un shorts con este pantalón del abuelo.
Le dije: dile a tu abuela...y me dijo que no, que lo hiciera yo porque era su mamá y además que su abuelita no se sentía bien.

Bueno pasaban los días y yo esperando a ver si se le olvidaba, pero para nada el niño seguía con el tema que le hiciera el shorts...hasta que no tuve más opción. Pero le dije que le haría un shorts pijama, porque como la tela estaba un un poco fea, lo usará solo para dormir, ya que la tela también es suavecita y le dejé la elástica un poco floja para que así no le apretara o marcará la piel.

But I told him that I would make him pajama shorts, because since the fabric was a bit ugly, he will only use them to sleep, since the fabric is also soft and I left the elastic a little loose so that it would not tighten or mark the fur.
Entonces tome como patrón uno de sus shorts de pero antes lo que hice fue descoser el shorts porque le quería dejar los detallitos que tenía .
Quedó prácticamente igual, solo que en una talla de niño😏.
Y aunque al principio pensé que el descoser iba a resultar tedioso, pero no , me gustó y lo hice muy rápido.
So I took one of her shorts as a pattern, but first what I did was unstitch the shorts because I wanted to leave the little details it had.
It was practically the same, only in a child's size😏.
And although at first I thought that unstitching was going to be tedious, but no, I liked it and I did it very quickly.

- como ya había descosido los lados y la entrepierna del shorts.
Abrí la tela y doble la que era la parte trasera del shorts, la doble y coloque encima el patrón y comencé a cortar la que sería la parte trasera del shorts pijama..dejando el borde del ruedo intacto.

- teniendo ya las piezas comencé a coser. Cuando tuve lista las dos partes, cosí primero los lados.
