🌼Proceso | Process🌼
Paso 1 | Step 1
Lo primero que haremos será marcar el contorno de nuestros patrones sobre la tela de jean.
The first thing we will do is to mark the outline of our patterns on the jean fabric.
Paso 2 | Step 2
Una vez hayamos marcado, lo siguiente será cortar. En total deben quedar 7 piezas: 1 circular, 2 para el cuerpo del gorro (el medio) y 4 para el ala.
Once we have marked, the next thing to do is to cut. In total there should be 7 pieces left: 1 circular, 2 for the body of the hat (the middle) and 4 for the brim.
Paso 3 | Step 3
Ahora, empezaremos a coser. Juntaremos primero las 2 piezas del medio (con el derecho hacia adentro) y las coseremos en cada extremo.
Now, we will start sewing. We will first join the 2 middle pieces together (right side in) and sew them together at each end.
Paso 4 | Step 4
Coseremos la pieza circular al cuerpo del gorro (también con el derecho hacia adentro).
We will sew the circular piece to the body of the hat (also with the right side facing in).
Paso 5 | Step 5
Tomaremos las 4 piezas del ala, juntaremos 2 y 2 con el derecho hacia adentro y luego coseremos en cada extremo.
We will take the 4 brim pieces, join 2 and 2 together with the right side facing in and then sew on each end.
Paso 6 | Step 6
Daremos la vuelta a una de las alas y dejaremos la otra al revés.
Meteremos una dentro de otra (tal cual se muestra en las fotos), abriremos y coseremos por todo alrededor dejando un pequeño margen.
We will turn one of the brim upside down and leave the other brim upside down.
We will tuck one inside the other (as shown in the photos), open and sew all around leaving a small allowance.
Con una aguja o pinza de cejas iremos deshilachando poco a poco todo el borde y luego, uniremos ambas partes del gorro.
With a needle or eyebrow tweezers we will gradually fray the entire edge and then we will join both parts of the cap.
Paso 7 | Step 7
Como último detalle, opté por bordarle una pequeña margarita, pero tu puedes decorarla con lo que gustes y como gustes.
As a last detail I chose to embroider a small daisy, but you can decorate it with whatever you like and however you like.
