Hello amazing people @needleworkmonday community
It has really been a busy day for me, but what keeps me happy is the ability to put smiles on people's faces.
I had alot of work to do at the shop during the weekend but i needed to also play my role at home as a mom and also to make a top for my second daughter.
While i was busy at the shop during the weekend,i was also wondering what my daughter will wear on Sunday.
There is this red skirt i made for her a long time ago
She usually used it with a white top,but we all know how kids behaves with white clothes they usually got it stained and i tried washing out the dirt but to no avail.
So i decided to create a new top for her, after finishing some customers clothes.
By this time it was getting late around 5:20pm
So i got the fabric and i was set to work,it was already a left over fabric.
Here are the materials i used
- Red colour bridal satin
- Thread
- Beads and
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
The first step i took was to cut out the fabric with shoulder,it was a small fabric so i needed a style that will be enough for the fabric, that's why i choosed the style.
I cut out the front side and the back side because
There was no zip allowance,it was meant to be a free top.
Secondly my daughter doesn't like tight clothes on her.
After that,i joined both sides together,i had choosed a V - neck design with reasons for easy wearing since there was no zip.
I carefully also made a collar for her with an extra rope for tieing,i just felt that it may be fashionable.
Finally i was through and i decided to add a little beauty to the top by beading it
I got my read colour beads and i started beading.
By this time it was already too late,my kids had gone to bed but i needed to finish it up so that she could wear it on Sunday.
I beaded through it and the beads were not enough for me
I left it has a style because it was to late to get a new one.
I cant really tell if it was too obvious but i am super glad i made her smile by making a new top to replaced her old White top.
