Hello everyone,its been a great day filled with activities.
I am here to share with you the two piece i made for a customer.
Truthfully, people likes things differently and they really have their reasons why they do so.
This my customer likes styles like this
She wouldn't mind having this style with different fabrics.
And the goodnews is that when ever i sew things like this for her it fit her perfectly well.
Though i believe in diversities i also feel it is still better to stick to what fit you.
She isn't really a skirt lover and i guess it does not really fit her that much.
Maybe this style makes her comfortable and personally i wear what makes me feel good,confident and comfortable.
Here are the simple materials i used
- Vintage fabric
- Scissors
- Measuring tape and a
- Chalk
The first step i took was to cut out the down part first.
She's isn't a chubby lady,just a slim lady with a nice height.
I had used three yards of fabric for her and i knew that it will definitely be enough.
After cutting it out,i created space for pocket and i started sewing it through.
The next step was for the top,since it was a three yards fabric i decided to cut out the top with shoulder,that is, cutting it at once with the hand instead of creating a new sleeve.
This method helps in managing fabrics
She didn't want a zip so i had to slit the front side for easy wearing
It wasn't a shaping top ,so i added more inches for sewing allowance so that it can be a free top on her
After that,i sewed all the pieces together and the cloth was ready.
She came to pick it up and as usual,it fitted just so good
I am glad she likes it.
