Hello hivers, compliments of the season, its a season of love, Christ loved us from the
very beginning that was why he came and died for us so we won't be condemned. Glory to the holy lamb which was slain for my ramification, thank you Jesus for your love that leaded to my redemption.
Am so excited its Friday ๐๐ i feel like dancing but before then, There's this marriage i and my cousin attended few days ago, our outfit was so unique, thought of sharing, actually am using an ankara material and its the same design but different pattern, i believe your ready so lets proceed. Here's my finished work๐
just as you've seen it's the same design but different styles and it's very simple, the one with gold combat in front is my cousin's, i pleated it. There are two types of pleating,
*ironed pleating
*topstitched pleating.
Am doing the iron pleating, because this kind of pleating is always very neat but it kinda hard ๐คท just before any creativity, the front of the cloth must be cut out in the measurement of the person your sewing it to. And then after my cutting, first thing first which is very necessary and important, ironing out the center to help centralize any design your making. After that being done I turn the back view, with my eyes i considered how wild i would like it to be and with my measurement tape i evaluate my the measurements i would be using, like i said in my previous posts that is very important before you start any design making in a cloth, is very advisable to use at least 1minute to picture what you what before you start so you won't end up making an uncorrectable mistake. So i considered the size of the shape to be 9inch by 7inch length and i use my pen to draw which shape I'll like maybe a triangle, circle after that you cave out the shape you've drawn. Then you look for a little pieces to place it in front of the cloth and sew it after that you turn it to the back to get rid of the rough edge and ironed it to relax. As you can see my shape is ready๐
i took a plan gold material, length of 20inch size of 15inch i started pleating with iron, i use 1inch size to bend and i iron, i bend again and iron using 1inch till it was much๐
just after the pleating i placed the pleating under the shape, centralize it and sewed it to the front and joined the shoulder, turned the neck, add a Readymade zip to the right side of the shoulder, trim the should to the measurement and i insert the hand after then i close the both side to his body measurement, bend the length and his cloth was ready ๐

Now my own๐ its still the same pattern, measurements both in cutting too, the steps taken from that other cutting the shape, everything is still the same, the only difference is the design inside the shape. So now let me share with you guys how i did mine actually this one is hard but not impossible, just believe you can and you will trust me. ๐ i will be show you how i made this ๐
like i said its wasn't easy to make this from a normal strip material we've been seeing ๐
okay now i first use my cutter โ๏ธ to cut the piece into two but not straight tho i slanted it ๐
The both side is ready ๐
Then i place them on top each other and sewed together . after sewing together i cut it into two again and inter switch them and sewed it and that was how the design came out๐
after getting the design i placed it under the shape and sew ๐
this was how it was when i finished๐
now my front was ready so i joined the shoulder, i used the same material to pipe the neck, add a Readymade zip to the right side of the shoulder also just like that other one i did earlier, i trim the should to my own measurement and i insert the hand after then i close the both side to my body measurement, bend the length and my cloth was ready ๐
And we rocked our designs
I believe someone has actually learn a new thing today,๐ stick around there's more.
Very soon i will be sharing how to make an ankara #face cap, pullover and more interesting things trust me it will be a long ride great in your Creativity world ๐
#stay save.
