Good Monday to all needlewomen (and boys too, of course) !!!! 😀
I decided to practice sewing on a sewing machine - to make even seams. Well, I don't have 20 duvet covers that can be turned into sheets))) So I started looking for what else I can sew. I saw my new tunic made of natural fabric and I got an idea!
This tunic is very beautiful, but I decided to make it even more beautiful 😀 I have such lace!
I thought this lace fits very well with my tunic, and it also gives me the opportunity to practice sewing straight seams!
First, I applied lace to the neckline. I love how it looks !!!!
Then I secured the lace to the fabric with needles so that it would not move when I sew it on the sewing machine.
I did the same on the hem of the tunic and started sewing. Hee hee yes, I need a lot of these tunics for my practice. I will not show you what my naughty sewing machine did in some places )))) I ended up getting it!
To be honest, I like it! I cheated: I chose the threads in the color of lace and my zigzags are completely imperceptible 😀 I have one more such tunic only in white.
I decided to compare how the tunic looks better: with or without lace. Look!
It seems to me that that tunic decorated with lace looks more interesting. What do you think about this?
