Hello hive community,Am happy to among you today and am also happy to share my ideas on how I cut and sew a school uniform.
Here I have my uniform materials, buttons and rubber.
First I folded my material into two I make the front to be bigger than the back because of my buttons sapce after that I took the length of my shirt and folded the shoulder by 2inche( i.e the back of the shirt ) and I measured out the shoulder of the shirt by 14inches and my arm hole by 7inches(NOTE:this uniform is for a 7years old boy) after that I measured out the body and then I cut and then I cut out the round neck by 14inches for collar.After I finished cutting my shirt I cut the collar by 15inches and then I cut the sleeve by 8inches. I joined the shoulder of the shirt and then I fixed the collar and then the sleeve and I make my button holes and fix my buttons tightly.
First I folded my material then I cut out the front side of the trouser,I measured out my waist and then my croch line by 8inch,
I measured out the length of the trouser and then I measured out the width of the knee by 7inch.I placed the front of the trouser on the remaining fabric so I can cut out the back side of the trouser,but I this point the back side of the trouser will be bigger then the front side by 2inch from the waist down to the knee of the trouser.after that I cut out my waist band and then the pocket lining and then my pocket flap(am using a different material for the pocket lining)
.After that I fix the rubber on the waist of the trouser,I hemmed the knee and then I ironed both the shirt and trouser.
