Hello dear hive friends! How are yu all? It's Monday again and I'm going to rushing to make my post. I wanted to make it last night but I was really tired that my eyes closes involuntarily.
From my post on my crochet artwork last week, I finished it that night. Thankfully I had some me time that night, my husband went to work and my kids were in bed early.
The problem was that I had
no reed thread at home and in my workplace where I usually do my crochet works. I bought a red thread from the Taiwanese store near our place and the color matches perfectly.
Also, I made a video as I sewed the lining using , my sewing machine I haven't used it for a long time and it collected many bags of dust already. On my first trial, Ifor got to try and adjust teh tension and it became an epic fail. Luckily, it was going well on my second try.

And the stitches looks neat after I took out the hand sewn stitches too!
I gave the bikini to Karen that day and she asked me how much is she going to pay me for but honestly, I don't know. So I told her ikaw na bahala (it's up to you). She kept asking and I told her I'd be happy whether he much she is going to give me.
Last Saturday, she handed me these. It's a lot and maybe it's worth 400pesos as payment for the bikini I made her. U was so happy! Honestly, I wanted it cash but its here and I have to thank her for it, I could use it for my kid's snacks anyways. And I don't have to buy snacks for school for about two weeks.
I got a pack of tens of Hansel milk sandwich, a pack ot tens of what ta tops cupcake, a pack of tens of dowee donuts, an eighteen - pack of jellies, and a pack of five of Dutch ill yogurt drink.

My crojo is back
So I got inspired of digging into my stash and find some yarns to sew. I had lots of unfinished projects in my stash and I do love finishing then yet I forgot what hook size did I use and also, the ideas I once ahd while making those projects are long gone and I just can't think on how to do them again so I decided to rescue the yarns and frogged .
It pains me to unwind the projects that took me weeks to finish, I am so sure that no matter how unpleasant my projects were. I have poured lot of hard work and dedication in them.
Weeks to finish, minutes to frog. Haaays, it hurts but at least I have goals to make them wonderful again.
This is what I unwinded just today. I tore this mid way done jacket which I made for myself but laziness took in and I got very disappointed about how it turns out. I tried it on and I don't like them; the colors are too pale and it felt like I can't finish it till forever!
This morning, while brushing my teeth, my husband told me that we will be going on a trip next Sunday and we will he bringing the kids! Oh my, I got so excited and an idea came to me: I should undo the jacket and divide it into two, one for my eldest daughter and one for the second born.
After some tike, this i is how it looks. 86 flower granny squares and some ball of yarns all squeezed themselves to my drawers in my workplace and I planned on remaking these pretties to a smaller jacket that could fit my daughters.

I decided I wouldadd some colors to it; I would like to use dark and bright ones! And an orange color would be perfect as tgey would be easily spotted with it. I somehow liked the idea of out reflectorized vest at my workplace.
I only had limited access to yarn colors, this was because I don't know how to choose colors when buying. I just told the seller that she would choose me the best colored yarns for a certain amount and she sent me these.
After some time, I realised that I should have gotten the main colors and have plenty in each color. Now I'm struggling on using them because they don't match each other's colors.
Which do you think is a good color combination? I'm sure you had your choice but here is what I did and I pretty impressed of my speed!
Though its granny square and I find it easier to crochet because it doesn't require me to look and shoot at the previous stitch.

Im having trouble doing the front part, obviously, the wide part is for the back and I hope I'll be dreaming on how to do the next part later. haha!
Do you dream crochet or sewing? I get this everytine I am. Obsessed in doing something but not all that I dream and imagine will be good when applied. I guess I'm just over thinking, right?
I wanted to rush the jackets, it's been a while since I was not able to finish something useful. I didake coin purses in the office but it still needs zipper attachment an di know its not going to be an easy task.
I'm bringing my wok back in my work place tomorrow and I hope I can update you with my progress.
Anyway, I'd like to have you opinion on this. My 8 year old, actually my kids borrow plour phone to watch videos and as they grew, they are leaving children's channels and I really dislike what they are watching.
I know I would not be able to stop her form holding phone a few years from now but that could happen in a blinkn of an eye. I'd like to introduce her to Hive, encourage her to make posts about how her day went and the things she is grateful for. Would that be a good idea?
I'm sure hive does filter NSFW contents really well and it's a great place to learn,( read posts and enhance her English, and develop joy in writing).
Earning would not be the priority but learning is.
What do you think?
Anyway, I'd be stopping my post in here, I still have to get some sleep for tomorrow's load of works.
