Las partes que componen una gorra son las siguientes:
1.Corona
2.paneles
3.Botón
4.Visera
5.Banda absorbente de sudor

ELABORACION DE LA GORRA / ELABORATION OF THE CAP

PASO 1 / / STEP 1

Lo primero que hice fue tomar la medida del contorno de mi cabeza.

Luego comencé a Trazar el patrón de la gorra, realizando los paneles en forma triangular de 18 cms de largo cada uno .luego trace la visera de 17 cms de ancho, 10 cms de largo dándole forma Semicurva.

Para la banda absorbente de sudor utilice el mismo patrón de los paneles.

Por ultimo trace un patròn de 4 cms de ancho por 45 de largo

The first thing I did was to take the measurement of the contour of the head.
Then I started to draw the pattern of the cap, making the panels in a triangular shape of 18 cm long each one, then I drew the visor of 17 cm wide, 10 cm long giving it a semi-curved shape.

For the sweat absorbing band use the same pattern of the panels.

Finally, draw a pattern 4 cm wide by 45 cm long.

PASO 2 / / STEP 2

Una vez trazados todos los patrones comencé a cortar las partes de la gorra en la tela. Cortando los 2 paneles de la parte frontal, luego corte los 2 paneles de la parte trasera y por último corte los 2 paneles de la parte lateral para lo cual coloque la tela del lado al revés para que se vieran diferentes.

Once all the patterns were traced I started to cut the parts of the cap out of the fabric. Cutting the 2 panels for the front, then cut the 2 panels for the back and finally cut the 2 panels for the side for which I placed <the fabric on the wrong side so they would look different.

Corte los 6 paneles para la banda absorbente.

Luego corte la visera en la tela de cuadro para la parte externa y en negro para la parte de adentro.

Then cut the visor in checkered fabric for the outside and in black for the inside

Por ultimo corte una cinta con la tela roja

PASO 3 / / STEP 3

Una vez que termine de cortar las telas, comencé a cocer los paneles que son las piezas triangulares de tela que, al momento de unirse, construyen la estructura redondeada de la corona. Para juntarlos cosemos primero los 2 de la parte delantera, luego los 2 de la parte lateral, derecha e izquierdo y por último la parte trasera. la cinta roja la coci por el contorno de la parte de adentro de la gorra ,

PASO 4/ / STEP 4

Comencé a cocer los paneles en tela negra para realizar La banda absorbente de sudor la cual va en la parte interna de la corona.

I started to bake the panels in black fabric to make the sweat absorbing band which goes on the inside of the crown.

PASO 5 / / STEP 5

Luego comencé a cocer la tela de cuadros con la tela negra para unirlos y asi formar la visera que es la parte rígida que protege la cara del sol. Una vez terminada la introduje dentro de la gorra y comencé a cocer.
