I like to get to the Plaza Mayor in Villa de Leyva, Boyacá, Colombia because there is always activity there. The main church is always full when there is an event and in the plaza there are always platforms to present an activity.
The space is large and when there are no platforms people come to feed the pigeons and they all come, there are many watered by all the roofs of the buildings.
On Saturdays there is always mass in the church, and their parishioners always come to attend the service on time.
I have been lucky to meet a wedding. It is always beautiful in any religion to see a wedding. The bride and groom making their vows of fidelity, the white dress, the veil. Everything is magical.
Outside is the procession, waiting for the bride and groom or the newlyweds to come out, rather. Everything on point. The vintage but elegant, convertible car will take the newlyweds to the reception.
Whenever there is a church wedding, people gather to see the new spouses leave. Everyone says if the wedding went to the top or what they saw in the previous one was missing. But he always likes the act.
This is what the church looks like at night, with all its lights and all its splendor.

Esta es mi entrada al concurso de #mypictureday, round 9, que lleva @timsaid y que es patrocinado y apoyado por @theycallmedan y @blocktrades.
Me gusta ir a la Plaza Mayor de Villa de Leyva, Boyacá, Colombia porque siempre hay actividad. La iglesia principal siempre está llena cuando hay un evento y en la plaza siempre hay tarimas para presentar alguna actividad.
El espacio es grande y cuando no hay tarimas la gente viene a darle comida a las palomas y ellas vienen todas, son muchas regadas por todos los techos de los edificios.
Los Sábados siempre hay misa en la iglesia, y siempre vienen sus feligreses a asistir al culto muy puntuales.
He tenido la suerte de encontrarme con una boda. Siempre es hermoso en cualquier religión ver una boda. Los novios haciendo sus votos de fidelidad, el vestido blanco, el velo. Todo es mágico.
Afuera está el cortejo, esperando a que salgan los novios o los recién casados, mejor dicho. Todo a punto. El coche antiguo pero elegante, descapotable, llevará a los recién casados a la recepción.
Siempre que hay boda en la iglesia la gente se aglomera para ver salir a los nuevos esposos. Todos dicen si la boda fue a lo alto o lo faltó lo que vieron en la anterior. Pero siempre gusta el acto.
Así luce la iglesia en la noche, con todas sus luces y todo su esplendor.
