A short distance from the centre of the township of Caboolture in Queensland, Australia, lies an impressive water parkland. Situated on the banks of the Caboolture river, this scenic landscape caters for a wide selection of wildlife and birds who thrive in this setting.
The ducks, corellas, purple swamp hens, darter birds and the occasional pelican bring life and activity to Centenary Lakes changing the scene minute by minute, making this an ideal venue for people of all ages to visit.
This was one of the first places I made a bee line for, after the Covid-19 restrictions were lifted recently as it is not far from where I live and I knew, having visited once before of the delights that awaited me. I was not disappointed.
My first image with the tree reflections painted across the gentle rippling surface of the lake spoke volumes about this picturesque place because it is a place to pause and reflect.
And that is what I ask you to do as you take a virtual tour and let nature soothe your soul.
CENTENARY LAKES. A PLACE TO PAUSE AND REFLECT.
THANK YOU FOR VIEWING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
(The camera I used for these images is a Panasonic DMC-FZ70)
