I am very happy to show you today's work. I finally came up with a cute logo for nekogamer.com and also a mascot, a very kawaii kitty, of course.
Logo variants
Right now I only have variants with the distribution and letters. But I think for now is what we need.
For the font I am using Porcupine; a font a designed with the help of a friend, many years ago, for a school project called motitta corp (I still find that name lovely). To be honest, I first tried using different pixeled fonts that can be found on dafont.com, but, at the end I decided to use something that was also made by me (with a little help from my friend); instead of using something made by a total stranger.
The colors of the logo defined a new color palette, so I had to make changes to the overall look of the site:
I really love the new colors! I think that pink in the button with the blue icon now really pops very cool. And the pink links also look awesome! Feels like everything is coming out together pretty well.
At the moment, the mascot is only displayed as the favicon of the site: 
I know is pretty small there, but that's what we have for now.
I am pouring my heart on this project and I really hope you enjoy the experience of playing and have a ton of fun.
