Honestly the title of the animated series is deceiving, the first thing you think is that it will be about futuristic things, with robots attacking and the human resistance trying to win a war, but past that first filter, you find out that it is a series based in a medieval world of magic and sorcery.
I'll be honest, at first it felt like a mix of Guardians of the Galaxy, Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones parodies. Since the forced design and characteristics of the main characters, it seemed to be a parody of the series.
Obviously, after I was hooked by the plot, I understood that this (character design) was made this way to attract the attention of the public, but leaving that fact, the story itself is very involving, fulfilling fully as any medieval adventure series at its height.

Honestamente el titulo de la serie animada engaña, lo primero uno piensa es que tratara de cosas futuristas, con robots atacando y la resistencia humana tratando de ganar una guerra, pero pasando ese primer filtro, te enteras de que es una serie basada en un mundo medieval de magia y hechiceria.Sere sincero, al comienzo lo senti como una mezcla de guardianes de la galaxia, con el señor de los anillos y parodias de juego de tronos. Ya que el diseño forzado y características de sus protagonistas, encaminaban a ser una parodia de las serie dichas.
Obviamente luego de engatusarme con la trama, comprendí que este (diseño de personajes), fue hecho así para llamar la atención del publico, pero saliendo de ese hecho, la historia es de por si muy envolvente, cumpliendo a cabalidad como cualquier serie de aventura medieval a su altura.

Puede que usar el gore (como la serie invencible) es un factor de enganche inicial, pero como explico, le agarras bastante cariño a su historia, pues es de aquellas donde (literalmente los miembros del grupo los ponen a parir con misiones imposibles, llegando al punto del desespero de quedarte enganchado viendo, como pueden sobrevivir ante el colosal enemigo frente a ellos).Y si, estoy hablando de cosas sacadas del típico jefe final de golpe, osea un grupo de novatos van en busca de una misión de exploración por una recompensa y su enemigo inicial es un poderoso dragón de trueno.
Cabe destacar que la jerga y las malas palabras (del léxico usado por sus protagonistas le dan ese plus de realismo), ya que literalmente ¿como carajos quieren que le ganemos a esa cosa?.
el hecho es que en sus 2 primeros episodios nos enfrascan en la batalla con el dragón de trueno, demostrando así que la serie quiere darte adrenalina y trama de una buena vez.

Y si añado a veces en obras literarias o de ramificación similar (aventura de rol o juego rpg), casi todo es puro bla, bla, bla, camino largo de aventura de un pueblo a otro, volviendo tedioso todo y al final una criatura de jefe final en el libro a vencer. Por eso digo que esta serie se sale de ese molde y va directo a lo que queremos ver, peleas, magia, desesperacion y enemigos imponentes que sabrá jesuscristo como se puede vencer.Y pues sanjado el asunto del dragon (sin dar spoiler), y apenas terminan la mision, se enfrentan a un nuevo enemigo, unos vampiros tan imposibles de vencer, que entran en la escala de villanos con poder absoluto.
No exagero, literalmente con su poder vampirico, pueden ordenarle a tus miembros del grupo, que te ataquen en manada contra ti (y si hablo de dominarlos con la mirada, no de morderlos y volverlos esclavos).
La mision de los vampiros es hacer un ritual antiguo y revivir a una especie de dios oscuro para que destruya el mundo y pedir ellos un deseo como recompensa por liberarlo.

A estas alturas los heroes estan tan, pero tan cansados que es inevitable poder salvar el reino y su gente.
De por si les toco sufrir un monton para destruir capitulos atras a un dragon de trueno (que segun el guion es el mas debil de todos), como para que traten de enfrentarse a varios a la vez es un apocalipsis de muerte.La trama a seguir es que los heroes huyen y deben buscar sus armas místicas para potenciarse cada uno de sus miembros y asi intentar contra atacar contra los dragones.
Cabe decir que tener el arma milenaria es el primer paso, ya que mision inicial de ir por la espada, resulto en un fracaso. Si obvio encontraron el sitio con el arma legendaria pero lo malo del asunto es que el dragon de ácido los intercepta, los vence y se roba la espada para si mismo.
Por eso la serie mantiene cierto aire de que puede ser impredecible, ya que no esta tan encasillada a lo que conocemos como señor de los anillos o video juegos de aventura rpg en 3D.

Entrega una aventura epica que te engancha ya que les toca sufrir muchismo para superar los retos imposibles que le pone el autor a sus heroes.

Vez a Kratos dios de la guerra cuando se pone la barba y va por los guanteletes de la fuerza, la madre de dragones de juego de tronos, la actitud de los personajes de guardianes de la galaxia en cada uno de ellos y pues fuera de eso vez dos cameos de Thanos de advengers en 2 villanos distintos.Otro punto es el desorden de orientacion sexual en sus personajes.
Es decir el nomo es de pensamiento abierto, a el le gusta follarse cuanta cosa se mueva (pues es el chiste del personaje, ser mujeriego y bisexual).Pero sobre el mercenario del grupo (juegan mucho conque el es el novio o amante del dueño de la tienda donde compran items), pero luego dicen que esta enamorado de su compañera de grupo, la maga de hechizos de planta y que se transforma en animales.
Osea, en ese concepto si senti que la serie falla por guion, pues literalmente (no puedes inventar una trama amorosa de la nada entre los heroes, si me lo presentas desde el inicio con el chico gay que gusta de los hombres).
Creo que esto se debio mas a cumplir con la cuota de (inclusión politica que debe hacer el estudio para contentar al canal), que de algo que es de plano un hecho en la trama principal.
Osea, yo estaria maravillado conque este heroe se bese y tenga sexo con el dueño de la tienda de items, porque hay quimica, hay indirectas, hay amor por salvar a su ser querido. Pero no encaja conque se enamore de su amiga (pues los directores decidieron que debia ser de esa orientacion para cumplir la cuota del canal.
Por eso detecte que ese personaje (No debio ser encasillado asi como gay, ya que se siente muy extraño ese cambio de orientación porque el guion debia seguir como se planteo, que es enamorarse de su amiga, mas no como lo modificaron).
En si, me parecio una serie muy entretenida, que pese a sus diseños rateados de otras series, cumple con su gran cuota de entretenimiento a niveles colosales.
Si puedes verla, te recomiendo que la disfrutes a tus anchas, ya que esta serie no decepciona. Esta en audio latino, asi que no hay que leer subtitulos,
Intente en lo posible no dar un spoiler de como vencen cada villano para no quitarte la experiencia de sentir esa aventura, asi que no siendo mas, espero que te des una maraton continua de sus temporadas y comas palomitas, ya que como expuse, esta serie esta muy por encima de cualquier pelicula medieval conocida ya que entrega acción y desesperación por cantidades industriales.
