Hello, Hivers! I hope you are doing well. I'm glad to greet you all in the HIVE-CON community. It's great to see a space dedicated to anime/manga lovers and other topics related to this world. On this occasion, the theme that is taking place in the community has caught my attention, although it is a bit complicated for me since there are many anime that marked my childhood, such as Dragon Ball, InuYasha, and Pokémon, among others. However, there will always be one that stands out above the rest.
In my case, I want to listen to the person who invited me to participate in this topic, the user @Kuronokenshi. He wants me to talk about ONE PIECE, and I must say that this anime marked a before and after in my life. Throughout the more than 1000 chapters, I have had many experiences that I will tell you about throughout the post.
One Piece came into my life thanks to a cousin who recommended it to me many years ago. At first, it took me a while to get used to the animation, as I was not used to watching such old anime. Also, back then, the anime was around 450-500 episodes long, and although I don't remember it exactly, I decided to keep watching it. At the time, I didn't know that One Piece was such an iconic anime in the community, as I was pretty inexperienced when it came to anime. I had only seen a few short anime or a few long anime on TV, but never full-length anime.
As many know, this anime revolves around pirates, and we follow the story of Monkey D. Luffy. At first, Luffy seemed a bit of an empty character to me, but being honest, I think it was all the comedy revolving around him that I liked the most. Even though he seemed a bit "fool" at times, I liked him because when there was fighting to be done, he changed completely. Even though there wasn't much action in the beginning, I still enjoyed the anime.
One Piece ended up catching me when I started to get to know little by little all the crew members that would accompany Luffy, being the first my favorite: Roronoa Zoro. As soon as I saw him, I knew he would be my favorite character due to the fact that he is a swordsman. Although his first appearance was kind of weird since he was trapped, the great thing about this duo is that they have completely different personalities but still make for good chemistry.
Little by little, more people were joining the crew, and I no longer knew what was going on. They went from having a little boat for just the two of them to being on a bigger boat with three other people. I have to say that each of them is special in its own way: Sanji, Nami, and Ussop. Although nowadays the crew has increased a lot, these five are the ones who were most present in my childhood.
The first sagas are very good, for me, the best one is when they go to Nami's island, which is dominated by a Shishibukai called "Arlong". He is a great opponent, for me, it was an excellent start. Seeing serious fights made me have great expectations of what was coming next. I also have to admit that seeing "fool" Luffy in serious mode really appealed to me. Not only him, but all the characters have character development in this saga, due to events that I won't tell you about so as not to make spoilers.
One Piece was the first anime that showed me that you can get emotional to the point of tears when watching something like this. I have gone through so many emotional moments with this anime that even today I can't remember them all. In its 1000+ chapters, many things have happened, but I especially remember a sad moment when the first crew ship sank and everyone was crying. Without realizing it, I was crying too, as if I was living that moment together with them.
For me, it was a hard anime to catch up with, especially since it came on the broadcast in the best arc ever Marineford. So many events happened that still have an effect on the world of One Piece today after many years. But there were not only sad moments, there were also such funny moments that made me start the day with a smile. The best thing was that as a teenager I met friends who also watched anime, although unfortunately none of them watched One Piece. Still, I could talk to them about anime with complete peace of mind.

Up to this point, I will make a jump in the time of One Piece to address its actuality. This anime not only marked my childhood, but is also present in my adulthood. Currently, the series is on episode 1053, and there have been many significant plot changes over the years.
With this type of anime, one realizes how much has happened since the broadcast began. Many of the doubts I had as a teenager have been resolved, but in a world as complex as One Piece, there are still many unknowns to be discovered. According to mangaka Oda, there are still three years to go before the end of the series.
One Piece has been one of the most important anime in my life, along with Naruto and Dragon Ball. In this post, I've tried to highlight what made me most happy with this anime when I was younger. It was great to relive many things that I no longer remembered.

En esta ocasión, me ha llamado la atención la temática que se está realizando en la comunidad, aunque es un poco complicada para mí, ya que hay muchos animes que marcaron mi infancia, como Dragon Ball, InuYasha y Pokémon, entre otros. En mi caso, quiero hacer caso a la persona que me invitó a participar en esta temática, el usuario @Kuronokenshi. Él quiere que hable sobre ONE PIECE, y debo decir que este anime marcó un antes y un después en mi vida. A lo largo de los más de 1000 capítulos, he tenido muchas experiencias que les iré contando a lo largo del post.
One Piece llegó a mi vida gracias a un primo que me lo recomendó hace muchos años. Al principio, me costó acostumbrarme a la animación, ya que no estaba acostumbrado a ver animes tan antiguos. Además, en aquel entonces, el anime tenía alrededor de 450-500 capítulos, y aunque no lo recuerdo con exactitud, decidí seguir viéndolo. En ese momento, no sabía que One Piece era un anime tan icónico en la comunidad, ya que era bastante inexperto en cuanto al anime se trataba. Solo había visto algunos animes cortos o algunos largos en la televisión, pero nunca completos.
Como muchos saben, este anime gira en torno a los piratas, y seguimos la historia de Monkey D. Luffy. Al principio, Luffy me parecía un personaje un poco vacío, pero siendo sincero, creo que fue toda la comedia que giraba en torno a él lo que más me gustó. Aunque a veces parecía un poco "tonto", me gustaba porque cuando había que pelear, cambiaba completamente. Aunque al principio no hubo mucha acción, yo seguía disfrutando del anime.
One Piece terminó de atraparme cuando empecé a conocer poco a poco a todos los tripulantes que acompañarían a Luffy, siendo el primero mi favorito: Roronoa Zoro. Apenas lo vi, supe que sería mi personaje favorito debido a que es un espadachín. Aunque su primera aparición fue algo extraña, ya que estaba atrapado, lo genial de este dúo es que tienen personalidades completamente diferentes pero que a la vez hacen buena química.
Poco a poco, más gente se iba sumando a la tripulación, y yo ya no sabía lo que estaba pasando. Pasaron de tener un barquito para ellos dos, a estar en un barco más grande con tres personas más. Tengo que decir que cada uno de ellos es especial a su manera: Sanji, Nami y Ussop. Aunque actualmente la tripulación ha aumentado mucho, estos cinco son los que más estuvieron presentes en mi infancia.
Las primeras sagas son muy buenas, para mí, la mejor es cuando van a la isla de Nami, que es dominada por un Shishibukai llamado "Arlong". Él es un rival genial, para mí fue un comienzo excelente. Ver peleas serias me hizo tener una gran expectativa con lo que venía después. También tengo que admitir que ver al "tonto" Luffy en modo serio me gustó mucho. No solo él, sino todos los personajes tienen desarrollo de personaje en esta saga, debido a sucesos que no contaré para no hacer spoilers.
One piece fue el primer anime que me mostro que puedes hasta llorar viendo algo asi, he pasado tantos momentos emocionales con este anime hasta el día de hoy que no los recuerdo, se dice poco pero en 1000+ capítulos ha pasado de todo, recuerdo una vez en un suceso muy triste con su primer barco toda la tripulación estaba llorando, sin darme cuenta yo también estaba llorando así de la nada, como si yo también estuviera pasando ese momento.
Para mi fue un anime duro de alcanzar, sobre todo porque llegue en el mejor arco que ha existido que fue Marineford, pasaron demasiado sucesos, tantos que hasta el día de hoy siguen teniendo efecto en el mundo de one piece luego de muchos años. Pero no solo eran momentos de tristeza, también hay momentos tan divertidos que me hacían ir al colegio con una sonrisa, lo genial fue que me rodie de amigos que también veían anime, claro lastimosamente de ellos ninguno ve onve piece, pero podía hablar con ellos sobre esto tranquilamente.
Hasta este punto, haré un salto en el tiempo de One Piece para abordar su actualidad. Este anime no solo marcó mi infancia, sino que también está presente en mi adultez. Actualmente, la serie se encuentra en el capítulo 1053, y ha habido muchos cambios significativos en la trama a lo largo de los años.
Con este tipo de anime, uno se da cuenta de lo mucho que ha pasado desde que empezó la emisión. Muchas de las dudas que tenía cuando era adolescente han sido resueltas, pero en un mundo tan complejo como el de One Piece, todavía hay muchas incógnitas por descubrir. Según el mangaka Oda, todavía quedan tres años para que se termine la serie.
One Piece ha sido uno de los animes más importantes de mi vida, junto con Naruto y Dragon Ball. En este post, he intentado destacar lo que más me hacía feliz con este anime cuando era más joven. Fue genial revivir muchas cosas que ya no recordaba.
