Good afternoon Hive,
I'm taking a different tactic today- instead of continuing to post mostly nature shots I feel it is time to widen my scope a little bit to show what else we get up to at home to keep us busy 😁. As part of my daughters homeschooling we have "glowforge days" where instead of sitting down and reading or working in a workbook on math or writing or spelling her job for the day is to help me do some design work on our glowforge, help me assemble the cut out parts, and then decorate the finished product with her artwork or by painting it. Sometimes she will draw or color while I do the design work if its a fully original creation, other times we use designs that can be found on the web or on the glowforge catalogue and personalize them.
This one is a design we got from the glowforge catalogue. The rotors turn and it was super easy to assemble the parts once it had been cut out. Sky really enjoyed assembling it and coloring it in. It holds together with no glue at all!
Sky picked out this Bulbasaur image from a google image search and then we turned it into a puzzle! I have to admit that I did help color some parts of it!
The next few are all made more for myself than for sky.
These crypto dice help me to manage my portfolio! Sometimes when I can't decide which token to buy or swap into I'll give these bad boys a roll!
These last two are art pieces I created to help distract me from the markets when I see prices moving in the markets in ways that I don't like!
Hope you enjoyed these creations! My daughter is super proud of her helicopter and her puzzles!
