Saludos comunidad de @Hive y @Nerday, para esta ocasión he decidido recrear una emoción muy común en estos tiempos, La Soledad, esa sensación de a pesar de estar rodeados de una multitud de almas, nos llegamos a sentir abrumadoramente incomprendidos, extraños en nuestro entorno e inmensamente solos. Me baso en una paleta de tonos grises y opacos para recrear esta atmosfera fría e indiferente de la ciudad, la cual uso como protagonista para esta ilustración.

Greetings @Hive and @Nerday community, for this occasion I have decided to recreate a very common emotion in these times, Loneliness, that feeling that despite being surrounded by a multitude of souls, we came to feel overwhelmingly misunderstood, strangers in our environment and immensely alone. I use a palette of gray and opaque tones to recreate this cold and indifferent atmosphere of the city, which I use as the main character for this illustration.

Primer paso: Geometría Oculta

First step: Hidden Geometry

El proceso creativo para esta ilustración, comienza con la ubicación de los puntos de fuga en el lienzo, decidí que lo que más se acercaba a mis bocetos mentales, Eran dos puntos de fuga, uno en el centro del lienzo que daría la profundidad de los elementos y una en la parta inferior, fuera del lienzo que generaría las alturas.

The creative process for this illustration, begins with the location of the vanishing points on the canvas, I decided that what was closest to my mental sketches, They were two vanishing points, one in the center of the canvas that would give the depth of the elements and one in the lower part, outside the canvas that would generate the heights.

En una capa de proporciones cuadradas creo el primer punto de fuga, haciendo líneas a cada cierta distancia y cursándolas en un punto central, luego duplico esa capa, amplio las proporciones y muevo el segundo punto de fuga por fuera de la parte baja del lienzo, de esta forma generar la distorsión que necesito para las alturas de los edificios.

In a layer of square proportions I create the first vanishing point, making lines at every certain distance and running them in a central point, then I duplicate that layer, expand the proportions and move the second vanishing point outside the lower part of the canvas, in this way to generate the distortion that I need for the heights of the buildings.

Segundo paso: Planos y Volumen

Second step: Plans and Volume

Ya posicionados los puntos de fuga, procedo a colocar los edificios, dividiendo toda la composición en planos, los edificios más cercanos estarán más detallados y con un tono más oscuro, mientras que los edificios más alejados estarán menos detallados y en un tono más claro.

Once the vanishing points are positioned, I proceed to place the buildings, dividing the entire composition into planes, the closest buildings will be more detailed and darker, while the buildings further away will be less detailed and in a lighter tone.

Tercer paso: Elementos Finales

Step Three: Final Elements

Ya a en este punto, apago la capa que contiene los puntos de fuga y comienzo a agregar los detalles de los edificios, como ventanas, luces, rejas, terrazas, texturas, etc.

At this point, I turn off the layer that contains the vanishing points and begin to add the details of the buildings, such as windows, lights, bars, terraces, textures, etc.

Seguido a esto se trabajan los efectos entre planos, en este caso decido potenciar la atmosfera fría y oscura de la ciudad con pequeñas pinceladas de tonos negros.

Following this, the effects between shots are worked on, in this case I decide to enhance the cold and dark atmosphere of the city with small brushstrokes of black tones.

Cuarto paso: Fondo y Entorno

Step Four: Background and Environment

Ya terminado los detalles de los edificios y planos, continuo con el fondo, el cual decido que lo más lejano será blanco y el valor lo tendrán las nubes que rodean la ciudad, tomando muestras de color de los edificios y con pinceles secos puedo crear el efecto de las nubes.

Once the details of the buildings and plans are finished, I continue with the background, which I decide that the furthest thing will be white and the value will be the clouds that surround the city, taking color samples from the buildings and with dry brushes I can create the cloud effect.

Por último trabajo el entorno, en el cual agrego Las luces y sombras finales, con esto darle los toques definitivos a la composición.

Finally I work on the environment, in which I add the final lights and shadows, with this to give the final touches to the composition.
